Monday, January 3, 2022
- 8:39 AM. The officer assisted Ogden First Responders at 320 NE 4th St.
- 10:38 AM. The officer received a complaint of railroad crossings on NW 4th malfunctioning.
- 11:54 AM. The officer assisted a stranded motorist at 326 SW 2nd St.
- 2:11 PM. The officer received a complaint of a reckless driver, NB, on H Avenue from Highway 141. The officer was unable to locate the vehicle.
Tuesday, January 4, 2022
- 07:55 AM. The officer received a complaint of traffic not stopping at stop signs in the area of Ogden Middle/High School.
- 10:25 AM. The officer was asked to check on the welfare of an Ogden resident. The subject was fine.
Wednesday, January 5, 2022
- 8:00 AM. The officer was asked to check on a reported fire near 270th and H Avenue. The officer located a brush pile at 653 270th that had rekindled due to the wind. The property owner advised he would keep an eye on the fire and call if it started to spread.
- 4:21 PM. The officer received a report of a battery-operated scooter left at 337 SW 4th Street. The officer contacted the owner, and he will be retrieving the scooter before dark.
- 9:28 PM. The officer assisted the stranded motorist.

- 8:00 AM. Ogden rural mail carrier notified the Ogden officer that an Ogden resident had not picked up his mail in the last couple of days, and this is unusual for him. The officer checked on the resident, and he had fallen recently and needed to go to the hospital. The officer called for a Boone County Ambulance and Ogden First Responders.
Friday, January 7, 2022
- 11:48 AM. The officer received a report of an alleged assault that had taken place on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, between a male juvenile and a female juvenile.
Saturday, January 8, 2022
- 2:20 PM. The officer assisted Boone County Ambulance with a 74-year-old female having blood sugar issues at Ogden High School.
- 9:23 PM. The deputy responded to a domestic situation at 208 NE 3rd Street. The male was gone when the Deputy arrived but showed up a short time later. The male, Nicholas Fitzgerald, 43, of Boone, was arrested for alleged Driving Under Suspension, Open Container of an alcoholic beverage in a vehicle, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Marijuna-2nd offense.

- 11:30 AM. The officer received a report of a suspicious male carrying a cardboard box standing at the intersection of NW 3rd and Sycamore. The officer located the male in the 500 block of NW 3rd. The male subject was looking for a ride to Boone. The officer offered the male subject a ride, but he declined, saying that he had several friends here in town that he was going to ask.
- 1:30 PM. The officer was asked by a Boone County Deputy to obtain information from an Ogden resident who was involved in a traffic accident last night. The officer contacted the subject and gave her the Deputy’s email address to send the requested information.
- 7:49 PM. The deputy assisted the subject, who was locked out of the vehicle.
