Police Report 1/30 - 2/5/2017

Monday, January 30, 2017
- 8:11 AM.  Karolyn Peterson reported that her car had been vandalized while parked in the garage at 1608 H Avenue.  The Officer advised her to contact the Boone County Sheriff’s Department.
- 11:58 PM.  Officer responded to Howe Elementary School in reference to an intrusion alarm.  This was determined to be a false alarm.

Tuesday, January 31, 2017
- 3:25 PM.  The officer assisted the subject locked out of the vehicle.

Wednesday, February 1, 2017
- 9:05 AM.  The officer responded to an Ogden High School reference student with a knife and possible drugs.  The officer was unable to find any drugs and the knife was not illegal for the student to have other than he could not have on school property.  The student was released to a parent.
- 11:30 AM.  The officer cited Ogden High School students for possession of tobacco under legal age.
- 11:49 AM.  Bonna K Church reported that someone had forced entry into her home during the night and stole some money from her grandson’s room in the basement.
- 4:30 PM.  The officer assisted the stranded motorist.

Thursday, February 2, 2017
- 2:28 PM.  The officer met with the subject who had received threatening texts.

Friday, February 3, 2017
- 3:15 PM.  The officer was dispatched to look for a vehicle traveling north on H Avenue from 300th Street at a high rate of speed.  The officer stopped the vehicle in the 1300 block of H Avenue and cited the driver, Marcos Medina for speeding.

Saturday, February 4, 2017
- 12:15 PM.  The officer checked on a transient in the 500 block of West Walnut Street.  The officer gave the subject a ride to Casey.
- 1:00 PM.  The officer assisted the subject locked out of the vehicle.
- 10:27 PM.  The officer was dispatched to look for a vehicle northbound on H Avenue from 290th reported to be driving recklessly.  The officer stopped the vehicle in the 1400 block of H Avenue and arrested the driver, Nghi Huynh, 67, of Minnesota, for allegedly driving while license was suspended.

Sunday, February 5, 2017
- 11:55 AM.  Officer responded to an intrusion alarm at Ogden High School. This was set off by school employees.
- 5:43 PM.  The officer assisted the Boone County Deputy with a family situation at 646 290th Street.
