Police Report 12/9 - 12/15/2024
Monday, December 9, 2024
- 12:11 PM. The officer assisted the Boone County Sheriff’s Office with a hit-and-run that had occurred in the 600 block of Highway 30. There were no injuries, and due to time delay and insufficient descriptors, the suspect was not located nor identified.
Tuesday, December 10, 2024
- 10:20 AM. The officer responded to a report of a reckless driver traveling eastbound on Highway 30. The officer was unable to catch up to the vehicle, which was later stopped by Boone PD. The driver was fine but was warned for speeding.
Wednesday, December 11, 2024
- 5:32 PM. The officer investigated an alarm in the 200 block of W Mulberry St. It was discovered to be a false alarm.
Thursday, December 12, 2024
- 1:05 AM. The officer investigated a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 400 block of E Walnut St. The vehicle was unoccupied but appeared to have been involved in a hit-and-run. The vehicle was towed, and the registered owner was located later. The driver was identified and cited for leaving the scene of an accident.
- 2:45 PM. Officers and deputies assisted with a medical call in the 400 block of NE 4th St. The patient was ultimately transported via helicopter from the 300 block of SE 2nd St.

- 10:40 AM. The officer and State Trooper assisted with a medical call in the 300 block of W Walnut St.
Saturday, December 14, 2024
- 6:55 PM. The deputy investigated a report of harassment in the 400 block of W Division St. This was discovered to be a misunderstanding and there was no crime.
