Police Report 1/27 - 2/2/2020
Monday, January 27, 2020
- 3:00. PM. An Ogden resident filed a complaint with city hall in regards to sidewalks not being cleared in the 300 block of SE 4th Street. The officer spoke with the property owners.
- 3:20PM. The officer investigated a 2-vehicle accident in the 200 block of NW 3rd Street. Jennica Vest, 32, of Ames, was backing her 2017 Chevrolet out of a parking space and back into a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica driven by Tracy Clemons, 51, of Ogden, who was southbound on NW 3rd Street. There was approximately $800.00 damage done to the Chevrolet and $800 damage to the Chrysler.

- 10:15 AM. The officer received a school bus violation report. The officer cited a 16-year-old male later in the day for unlawful passing of a stopped school bus.
Wednesday, January 29, 2020
- 12:14. PM. Jacob Ludwick, 20, of Cedar Rapids, called to report that his 1987 Ford F250 was taken from 502 S 1st Street without his permission. Jacob said that he had received a phone call from Story County Sheriff’s Department that they towed his truck because it was left alongside Highway 30 west of University Boulevard in Ames. Jacob said that his friend, who is working on the truck, advised he had parked it at 502 S 1st Street on Tuesday night.

- 1:50 PM. The officer assisted Deputies with a search warrant.

- 9:22 PM. A purse that had been left at the Lucky Pig was turned over to Deputy.

- 8:37 AM. The deputy returned a call to the Ogden resident regarding a landlord/tenant dispute.
