Police Report 12/4 - 12/10/2017
Monday, December 4, 2017
- 2:39 PM. The officer provided a funeral escort from Zion Lutheran Church to Glenwood Cemetery.
- 3:43 PM. The officer spoke with the subject from out of state who owns property here in Ogden. The officer advised the subject the house and yard were in terrible shape. The subject advised he thought he was being foreclosed on. The officer advised he would try and make contact with the lending institution.
- 6:04 PM. The officer received a complaint from an individual who wanted help in getting company property back from a former employee who is an Ogden resident. The officer was able to make contact with the former employee and advised them to return the property in question. The subject said he would return the property tonight.

- 9:45 AM. The officer returned a call to the Ogden resident in regards to her question about ownership of a vehicle.
- 3:55 PM. Officers responded to a report of a male subject at a residence who would not leave after he was asked to by the tenant. The male subject left the residence after the officers arrived. He was advised if he returned, he would be charged with Trespassing.
- 11:39 PM. The officer responded to an intrusion alarm at the Ogden High School. This was determined to be a false alarm.

- 2:15 PM. The officer received a citizen complaint in regards to a camper parked in the 200 block of S 1st Street and obstructing vision when the complainant backed out of the driveway. The officer notified the owner of the camper that it needed to be moved as it was causing traffic hazards and was non-registered.

- 6:10 AM. The officer assisted the subject locked out of the vehicle.

- 10:20 AM. The officer spoke to a subject referencing property cleanup.
- 3:17 PM. The officer spoke to a subject referencing property cleanup.
- 3:50 PM. The officer assisted Ogden Fire with a car fire at 325 SW 3rd St.
- 4:35 PM. A deputy investigated Harassment in the 600 block of W. Maple St.
- 9:07 PM. The deputy assisted a stranded motorist at 226 SE 2nd St.

- 8:33 AM. The officer investigated a complaint of a simple assault at Accura Health. The investigation is continuing.
- 1:19 PM. The officer investigated a child custody complaint.
Sunday, December 10, 2017
- 7:43 AM. The officer responded to the Ogden Middle School for a security alarm. It was determined to be an employee error.
- 12:16 AM. The officer received a complaint of two dogs at large in the 600 block of Haws Dr. The Officer and the dog’s owner located both animals and returned them home.
- 7:33 PM. The deputy responded to Accura Health Care for a subject having mental health problems. The subject was transported to the Boone County Hospital for evaluation.
PSA: OGDEN RESIDENTS ARE REMINDED THAT IT IS ILLEGAL TO BURN AS OF NOVEMBER 15, 2017. OGDEN’S NEW ORDINANCE RESTRICTS BURNING TO APRIL 15 THROUGH MAY 15 AND AGAIN FROM OCTOBER 1 THROUGH NOVEMBER 15.
