Police Report 12/23 - 12/29/2024
Monday, December 23, 2024
- 8:26 AM. The officer took a report of a suspicious vehicle that kept showing up in the alley north of the 100 block of W Walnut St. The vehicle was currently not there when the officer received the information.
Tuesday, December 24, 2024
- 2:13 PM. The officer investigated a report of a juvenile walking near N 1st St whom the reporting party thought may have been in need of assistance. The officer searched the area but was unable to locate anyone matching the description.
- 2:14 PM. The officer investigated a report of theft in the 600 block of E Oak St. The investigation is ongoing.
- Our department took several reports overnight of clatters arising on the lawns of multiple residences. Reporting parties claimed that no one should have been stirring, not even the mice. Others reported whistling and shouting accompanied by prancing and pawing of hooves atop rooftops. Officers were unable to positively identify the suspect as the driver was so lively and quick and had left the scene more rapidly than eagles before their arrival.

- 7:39 AM. The deputy investigated a report of an open door at the Ogden Elementary School.
Thursday, December 26, 2024
- 2:49 PM. The officer and deputy assisted with a medical call in the 200 block of W Maple St.
- 3:40 PM. The officer responded to a report of a reckless driver traveling north on Highway 169 headed into Ogden. The officer initiated a traffic stop with the driver in the 200 block of S 1st St and determined that he was safe to continue driving. He was advised of the complaints and given a warning for a broken taillight.

- 11:04 AM. The officer responded to Highway 30 due to a report of a wrong-way driver traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes from Boone. The officer was unable to locate the suspected vehicle.
Saturday, December 28, 2024
- 10:06 AM. Deputies assisted with a medical call in the 400 block of E Oak St.
- 7:23 PM. Deputies responded to a report of a car vs building collision. There were no injuries and only paint transfer. This was due to a vehicle rolling over the curb while in neutral.
- 10:57 PM. The deputy investigated a report of two intoxicated minors in the 400 block of W Division St. Parents were contacted. The investigation is ongoing.

- 4:44 PM. The deputy investigated a report of a fire near the 600 block of NW 4th St. This was discovered to be a controlled burn on the north side of town.
