Police Report 12/23 - 12/29/2019

Monday, December 23, 2019
- NOON.  The officer responded to an incomplete 911 call from 220 SW 7th Street.  This was determined to be a small child playing with a cordless phone.
- 12:45 PM.  The officer received a complaint of the Ogden resident burning leaves.  The officer advised the resident of the city ordinance and had him extinguish the fire.
- 12:55 PM.  The officer received a complaint of the subject burning.  The officer advised the subject of the ordinance and had him extinguish the fire.
- 1:15 PM.  Ogden resident reported that two juveniles were knocking on his door last evening at about 10:15 PM and then ran away.  The resident said this has happened in the past.
- 3:15 PM.  The officer spoke with the Ogden resident about burning.  The officer advised the resident of the city ordinance and had him extinguish the fire.
- 6:55 PM.  The deputy assisted Ames Police by stopping at an Ogden residence and having the resident return a call to Ames Officer.

Tuesday, December 24, 2019
- 12:50 PM.  The officer spoke with an Ogden resident about burning leaves.  The officer advised the resident of the city ordinance and advised not to add any more leaves to the fire.

Wednesday, December 25, 2019
- 3:53 PM. The officer investigated an animal bite at 691 SW 4th St.

- no reported activity

Friday, December 27, 2019
- 10:02 AM. The deputy received a complaint of theft from 125 W. Maple St.
- 12:11 PM. The officer assisted a Boone County Deputy with a medical call at 105 3rd St. in Beaver.

Saturday, December 28, 2019
- 10:56 AM.  The officer received a complaint of a male and a female sitting inside of a white vehicle in the driveway at 619 NW 4th Street.  The complainant thought it looked like the two people were arguing.  The vehicle and subjects were gone upon the officer’s arrival.

Sunday, December 29, 2019
- 1:20 PM.  The officer assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance with a subject who had fallen and hurt his ankle.  The subject was transported to Boone County Hospital.
- 9:41 PM.  The officer assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance with a subject that had fallen and needed help getting back up.
