Police Report 12/22 - 12/28/2017

Friday, December 22, 2017
- 4:14 AM.  The deputy received a report of suspicious activity in the 200 block of SW 9th Street.  A resident saw footprints in the snow around the deck.  There appeared to be nothing missing.  This turned out to be a family member walking around.
- 9:55 AM.  The officer responded to an incomplete 911 call from an Ogden residence.  The resident misdialed the phone.
- 10:03 AM.  The officer was asked to look for a vehicle making bad passes northbound on H Avenue from 270th Street.  The officer located the vehicle at Casey's General Store.  The driver was not intoxicated but was passing people to keep road spray off the windshield, as he was out of washer fluid.
- 10:10 AM.  The officer received a complaint of possible animal abuse at 325 E Division Street.  The officer went and talked with the owner of the dogs.  Both dogs are thin and one is exceptionally thin.  This dog is a rescue dog and they are in the process of providing medical attention and quality care for the dog.
- 12:55 PM.  The officer arrested Jeremy Schrum, 27, of Ogden, on an outstanding warrant for Probation Revocation.
- 4:56 PM.  Ogden resident reported a phone scam.  The resident had received a phone call from someone claiming to be a grandson who was in jail and needed bail money.
- 5:20 PM.  The officer received a request from the subject to help him with a child custody matter.  The officer advised the subject to contact his attorney.
- 9:35 PM.  The officer received a report of a fight between juveniles at SW 4th and Division.  This turned out to be a couple of boys just messing around.
- 10:20 PM.  The subject called the officer wanting to talk about an issue over personal property. The officer advised the subject to work it out with her ex-boyfriend or contact an attorney.

Sunday, December 24, 2017
- 12:26 AM.  The officer responded to 614 W Division in regards to the CO detector going off.  The officer had the residents get out of the house and sit in their car.  The officer called for Ogden Fire and Ogden First Responders.  Black Hills Energy was also called to come and check the residence.
- 8:25 AM. The officer assisted Ogden First Responders at 625 E. Oak St.

Monday, December 25, 2017
- 1:09 AM. The deputy investigated a noise complaint at 114 SW 3rd St.
- 5:56 AM. The officer assisted Ogden First Responders at 307 NE 4th St.
- 10:11 AM. The officer assisted Ogden First Responders at 232 SE 4th St.
- 2:00 PM. The officer responded to an intrusion alarm at 229 W. Locust St. It was determined to be a false alarm.
- 6:10 PM. The deputy handled an animal complaint at 207 NE 3rd St.

Tuesday, December 26, 2017
- 6:05 AM. The officer investigated a gas drive-off at Casey’s. The officer was unable to locate the vehicle.
- 8:36 AM. The officer investigated a domestic dispute at 822 N. 1st St.
- 1:10 PM. The officer investigated phone harassment.
- 3:00 PM. The officer handled a civil matter.
- 6:26 PM. The officer attempted to locate a vehicle on hwy 30 that was suspicious. The vehicle was located in Greene County.

Wednesday, December 27, 2017
- 4:53 PM. The deputy investigated a burglary at 232 SW 6th St.

Thursday, December 28, 2017
- 6:31 AM. The deputy assisted a stranded motorist at 601 W. Cherry St.
- 1:39 PM. The officer handled an animal complaint.
