Monday, December 22, 2025
-7:33AM. Deputies responded to a report of a loose cow in the 900 block of N 1st St. The owners were contacted, and the cow was secured.
-8:18AM. Deputy was flagged down for a vehicle unlock in the 300 block of SE 2nd St. 

Tuesday, December 23, 2025
-9:35AM. Officer came across 2 loose beagles near the 400 block of W Maple St. The owner was identified and came to retrieve them. 

Wednesday, December 24, 2025
-2:12PM. Officer checked the welfare of a driver that appeared to be sleeping in a running vehicle parked by the elementary school. The driver was fine and had pulled over to check something. 

Thursday, December 25, 2025
-Midnight: Officer responded to reports of a suspicious red shining light on what ended up being a foggy Christmas Eve. The light could be seen floating just above town and one could even say it glowed. NORAD was contacted for verification and the officer was advised that he could disregard and that there was no threat.
-6:04PM. Officer responded to a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of SW 7th St and W Mulberry St. There were no injuries.

-2:50PM. Deputy responded to a complaint of damage to the railroad crossing on N 1st St. The Union Pacific Railroad was contacted and advised.
