Police Report 1/21 - 1/27/2019
Monday, January 21, 2019
- 9:40 AM. The officer was called to the McGraw Senior Center to pick up a set of keys found on the sidewalk.
- 3:42 PM. The officer returned keys that were turned in earlier today to the owner.
Tuesday, January 22, 2019
- 3:47 PM. The officer investigated a 2-vehicle accident at SE 2nd and Division Street. Steve Duncan, 60, of Boone, was traveling north on SE 2nd in his 2000 Ford Ranger when he was unable to yield at Division Street due to a snow-covered road and pulled out in front of a 2013 Chevrolet driven by Kaylee Uthe, 32, of Ogden who was westbound on Division Street. There was approximately $1,000.00 damage to the Uthe vehicle and $1,500 damage to the Duncan vehicle. There were no charges filed due to weather/road conditions.
- 4:31 PM. The officer assisted the subject locked out of the vehicle.
Wednesday, January 23, 2019
- 8:41 PM. The officer received a complaint of someone walking around the Howe Elementary Ball fields with a flashlight. The officer was unable to locate anyone.
Thursday, January 24, 2019
- 5:43 AM. The officer responded to an intrusion alarm at 219 SW 4th. This was set off accidentally by the homeowner.
- 8:40 AM. The officer received a complaint that a part of an automobile was lying in the roadway in the 600 block of West Elm Street. Ogden Street crew picked up the part.
- 5:07 PM. Laura Lass asked to speak with the officer on duty regarding a dog that she had found at her residence. The Boone County Deputy responded and notified the owner of the dog to come and get it.
- 10:25 PM. An employee of Dollar General reported a suspicious vehicle in their parking lot. The deputy responded and spoke with the driver of the vehicle. The driver had pulled over to talk on the phone. The driver advised he would be leaving.
Friday, January 25, 2019
- 3:26 AM. The deputy received a complaint of the subject(s) going around knocking on doors and running away. The deputy was unable to locate anyone in the area.
- 7:55 AM. The officer was asked to check on an occupied vehicle that was on the shoulder of the road in the 700 block of 220th Street westbound. The vehicle had a flat tire and was unoccupied.
