Police Report 12/1/2025-12/7/2025
Monday, December 1, 2025
-3:31PM. Officer received a phone call about a possible stranded vehicle in the 1000 block of 216th Dr. Officer went out to check and made contact with the owners who had already contacted a tow.
-3:45PM. Officer responded to a report of a semi traveling westbound on Highway 30 from L Ave hauling a trailer with an open door in the back. Officer was able to stop the driver near Highway 30 and 222nd Dr so the door could be secured.
-6:01PM. Deputy assisted with pushing a stuck motorist out of a snowbank near S 1st St and W Veterans Dr.
-8:56PM. Deputies provided traffic control while the Union Pacific’s railroad crossings malfunctioned and closed off every crossing in town.
-10:59PM. Deputy responded to a barking dog complaint in the 300 block of E Walnut St. A young girl was dog-sitting for a family and was having trouble getting the large dog back into the house when she let it out.
Tuesday, December 2, 2025
-10:06AM. Report of a dog barking in the 300 block of E Walnut St. Officer was unable to respond right away. Upon arrival it was noticed that the young lady dog-sitting was on scene and the dog was no longer outside. An additional complaint came in a few hours later. The owner was reached by phone and made aware of the multiple complaints. The owner stated that they would contact the teenager watching their dog and figure out a plan to ensure the dogs are not left out too long.
-5:17PM. Officer assisted with a medical call in the 400 block of SW 4th St.
-9:58PM. Officer assisted with a medical call in the 400 block of W Cherry St.
Wednesday, December 3, 2025
-8:49AM. Deputy responded to an open-line 911 call in the 100 block of SW 8th St. It was a phone issue and there was no emergency.
-11:30AM. Officer took a report of harassment in the 100 block of W Maple St.
-3:48PM. Officer responded to the 400 block of SW 4th St to assist a resident trying to get back into their house.
-4:24PM. Officer responded to a report of a reckless driver travelling southbound on P70 headed into town. Officer located and followed the vehicle and observed no traffic violations.
-5:07PM. Officer assisted with pushing a stranded motorist out of traffic at 1st St and Walnut St.
Thursday, December 4, 2025
-5:28AM. Deputy assisted with a medical call in the 500 block of N 1st St.
-6:59AM. Deputy observed a motor vehicle collision that occurred at the intersection of N 1st St and E Locust St. One driver was cited for driving on the wrong side of the road and for not having proof of insurance.
-7:53AM. Officer responded to a report of a stranded motorist in the 100 block of W Sycamore St. The officer discovered this was the same vehicle from the previous collision. The vehicle was inoperable at that point and needed to be towed.
-4:41PM. Officer assisted with a structure fire in the 700 block of 200th St.
-6:51PM. Officer investigated an open-line 911 call in the 900 block of N 1st St. It was determined to be an accidental call.
Friday, December 5, 2025
-8:22AM. Officer responded to the Ogden Caseys for a vehicle stalled at the gas pumps. The vehicle was pushed out of the way and a local mechanic was contacted.
-11:43AM. Officer took a report of a sexual assault. The assault occurred within the City of Boone, so the case was forwarded to the Boone Police Department.
-7:38PM. Officer assisted with a medical call in the 500 block of N 1st St.

-12:35AM. Officer assisted with a medical call in the 400 block of SW 4th St.
-5:56AM. Deputy provided a vehicle unlock in the 600 block of E Oak St.
Sunday, December 7, 2025
-9:17AM. Deputy made contact with a resident in the 400 block of SW 4th St that Boone Police was looking for regarding a motor vehicle collision in Boone.
-2:46PM. Deputy responded to an alarm at the Ogden Caseys. It was a false alarm.
