Police Report 12/10 - 12/16/2018
Monday, December 10, 2018
- 8:19 PM. The deputy responded to a reported breaking. Kayla Runge of 508 W Division Street reported that she believes someone pried her door open and entered her residence because the door was open when she returned home. Kayla doesn’t believe that anything is missing.
Tuesday, December 11, 2018
- 10:12 AM. A subject brought a dog to the city hall that she had caught running loose in the 600 block of East Oak Street. The owner of the dog was called to come and pick up the dog.
- 2:00 PM. The officer caught 2 German Shorthair dogs that were running at large and returned them to the owner.
Wednesday, December 12, 2018
- 2:45 PM. The officer investigated a no-contact order.
- 3:20 PM. The officer investigated harassment.
Thursday, December 13, 2018
- 11:26 AM. The officer assisted a stranded motorist in the 1100 block of 220th Street.
- 3:51 PM. The officer assisted Ogden First Responders at 513 NW 7th Lot 3.
Friday, December 14, 2018
- 6:30 AM. The officer received a complaint of a loose dog in the 400 block of NE 2nd St. The Owner located the dog.
- 1:17 PM. The officer assisted a Boone County Deputy with a reckless driver on 220th between Boone and Ogden.
- 3:07 PM. The officer responded to the Ogden Manor for a resident who was upset with staff.
- 5:04 PM. The deputy investigated a complaint of trespassing at 207 E Walnut St.

- 11:29 AM. Ogden officer and Boone County Deputy assisted an Ogden resident who had fallen and needed help standing up.
Sunday, December 16, 2018
- 8:25 AM. The officer located a stop sign that had been knocked down at SW 4th and Division. The officer notified the Street Superintendent.
- 8:37 AM. The officer located a stop that had been knocked down at West Drive to Ogden High School and Division Street. The officer notified the Street Superintendent.
- 9:00 AM. The officer located a yield sign that had been knocked down at West Locust and NW 7th Street. The officer notified the Street Superintendent.
- 2:10 PM. An Ogden resident reported the outside mailbox at Ogden Post Office appeared to be full, as letters were hanging out of it. The officer notified an employee of the Post Office.
PSA: RESIDENTS ARE REMINDED TO HAVE SNOW REMOVED FROM SIDEWALKS WITHIN 48 HOURS AFTER SNOW STOPS FALLING. Also, DO NOT PUSH SNOW FROM YOUR PROPERTY INTO CITY STREET AFTER IT HAS BEEN PLOWED.
PSA: NO PARKING ON WALNUT STREET (BUSINESS DISTRICT) AFTER 2 AM IF THERE IS A POSSIBILITY OF SNOW DURING THE NIGHT. CARS HAVE TO BE OFF OF THE STREET FOR PLOWS TO REMOVE THE SNOW.
