Police Report 1/14 - 1/20/2019

Monday, January 14, 2019
- 5:49 AM.  Ogden officer and Boone County Deputy responded to an intrusion alarm at Swanson Drug.  Upon arrival, the officer observed that a front window had been broken. The officer and Deputy cleared the building after the key holder arrived, and it was determined that entrance had not been gained.  There was approximately $5,000.00 in damage to the window.
- 7:13 PM.  The officer caught two dogs that had gotten out of the residence.  The officer returned the dogs to the residence and secured the door.

Tuesday, January 15, 2018
- 12:33 PM.  The officer was asked to look for a Blue Semi-tractor pulling a white trailer northbound on H Avenue from the Ampride Station at the junction of Highway 141/169.  The driver had reportedly left without paying for fuel.  The officer stopped the vehicle in the 1200 block of H Avenue.  The driver denied getting fuel, only a few items inside the station.  The officer obtained the driver’s license information and advised the Communications Center to pass the information on to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office for further investigation.
- 8:05 PM.  The deputy received a report of someone walking around inside a building under construction at 125 W Walnut Street.  The deputy advised the building was secure, and he could see no one inside.

Wednesday, January 16, 2019
- 8:33 AM.  The officer assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance.
- 9:15 AM.  Howe Elementary School Principal requested that Ogden officer check on the welfare of 2 children who had not been at school all week.  The officer spoke with the mother of the children, and both were home due to illness.  The officer advised the mother that she needed to call the school to notify them when the children were homesick.

Thursday, January 17, 2019
- 1:00 PM. The officer investigated a theft.

Friday, January 18, 2019
- 1:06 PM. The officer received a complaint of a loose dog in the 200 blk of S. 1st.
- 2:46 PM. The officer checked on a suspicious vehicle in the 300 block of W. Sycamore St.
- 4:01. PM. Deputy assisted Ogden Fire at 113 W. Mulberry St with a fire.
- 9:57PM. The deputy received a complaint of a vehicle pulling a sled in the High School parking lot. The deputy was unable to locate any vehicle.

Saturday, January 19, 2019
- 11:00 AM. The officer assisted a Boone County deputy with traffic control at an accident in the 1200 block of H Avenue
- 12:27 PM. The officer assisted Ogden First Responders at Accura Health.

Sunday, January 20, 2019
- 7:28 AM.  The officer returned a phone call to a subject regarding a child custody exchange.
- 3:25 PM.  A Caseys General Store employee reported they had received a counterfeit $20 bill.
