Police Report 11/26 - 12/2/2018

Monday, November 26, 2018
- 11:54 AM.  The officer was asked to check on the welfare of an Ogden resident.  The subject was fine and advised that his daughter was trying to make contact with him.
- 3:58 PM.  The officer received a complaint about a white delivery truck that was driving eastbound on 220th and was all over the road.  The truck turned south on H Avenue.  The officer followed the vehicle and it did not show any signs of improper driving.
- 9:20 PM.  The deputy responded to an intrusion alarm at Ogden Municipal Utilities.  This was determined to be a false alarm.

Tuesday, November 27, 2018
- 7:51 PM.  The officer assisted the subject locked out of the vehicle.

Wednesday, November 28, 2018
- 9:35 AM.  The officer assisted the Ogden High School Custodian with a student who had parked his vehicle outside of the parking area.
- 1:50 PM.  Ogden officer and Ogden Street Superintendent provided traffic control for a funeral leaving the Methodist Church and going to the Beaver Cemetery.

Thursday, November 29, 2018
- 12:09. AM.  Ogden officer and Boone County Deputy responded to a domestic situation at 326 E Mulberry Street.  This was a verbal argument only and the male subject left the residence for the rest of the night.
- 9:40AM.  An Ogden resident stopped by City Hall to report that she had caught a white Labrador retriever at NW 2nd and Cherry.  The officer took the dog and returned it to its owner.
- 10:05 AM.  The officer assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance at ACCURA Health.
- 11:37 AM.  The officer was asked to check on the welfare of an Ogden resident.  The subject was not at home.
- 12:30 PM.  The officer received a report of a subject that was coming into a couple of downtown businesses acting very strange.  The officer advised the complainants to call Boone County Communication Center when the subject comes in and an officer will come and speak with him.
- 1:35 PM.  The Ogden resident reported that while she was walking inside the Ogden Middle School last night, someone took her coat.  The coat had her cell phone and car key in it.
- 4:33 PM.  The officer received a report of an incident involving a boy and girl at the Ogden Middle School.  The boy had shoved the girl down during school and the girl’s mother wanted the boy talked to by the officer.  The officer spoke with the boy and his parents and the girl and her parents.  The officer advised the children to stay away from one another and if this happens again to notify school staff.
- 5:56 PM.  The officer responded to 245 W Walnut #3 regarding a possible domestic situation.  The female subject did not want charges filed and the male subject had left the area.  Charges are pending.
- 7:26 PM.  The officer assisted Boone County Deputies with an accident involving personal injury 1200 block of H Avenue.

Friday, November 30, 2018
- 3:25 PM.  The officer assisted a stranded motorist in the 300 block of W Locust Street.

Saturday, December 1, 2018
- 1:57 PM. An Ogden resident reported receiving a call from the IRS.  He advised that he knew it was a scam, but he wanted to report it.

Sunday, December 2, 2018
- No reported activity

PSA:  RESIDENTS ARE REMINDED TO HAVE SNOW REMOVED FROM SIDEWALKS WITHIN 48 HOURS AFTER SNOW STOPS FALLING.  Also, DO NOT PUSH SNOW FROM YOUR PROPERTY INTO CITY STREET AFTER IT HAS BEEN PLOWED.
