Police Report 11/1 - 11/7/2021
Monday, November 1, 2021
- 7:11 AM. The deputy handled a parking complaint in the 300 block of W. Sycamore St.
- 8:48 AM. The officer investigated a complaint of harassment at 325 SW 4th St.
- NOON. The officer notified the UPRR about a road hazard on the North 1st St RR Crossing.
- 10:06 PM. The deputy investigated a complaint of trespassing at 205 W. Walnut St.
Tuesday, November 2, 2021
- 12:49 PM. The officer was asked to return a phone call to an Ogden resident regarding possible hacking of a cellular phone.
- 8:43 PM. Boone County Deputies assisted Ogden Fire with a house fire at 826 N 1st Street.
Wednesday, November 3, 2021
- 10:34 AM. The officer was asked to check on the welfare of a home school student. The officer was unable to find anyone at home.
- 2:20 PM. The officer responded to a 2-vehicle accident resulting in property damage only in the Ogden High School Parking Lot. Dillon Hiller, 18, of Ogden, was backing his 2011 Chevrolet out of a parking space and hit a 2018 Chevrolet driven by Melanie Herrick, 35, of Ogden. There was approximately $1,500.00 damage to the Herrick vehicle and approximately $500.00 damage to the Hiller vehicle.
- 10:26 PM. The officer checked a residence in Ogden for a vehicle that possibly had stolen plates attached to it. The officer was unable to locate any vehicle with the plates in question.
Thursday, November 4, 2021
- 1:35. PM. An Ogden resident called to report that someone had banged on the side of her home at 519 SW 4th Street last night between 8pm and 8:30 PM. The officer advised the subject that she needed to call when this happened so the officer would have a better chance of locating someone in the area.
- 2:40 PM. The officer received a complaint of several mailboxes being knocked down by a white pickup truck pulling a piece of farm tillage equipment north on 1st Street. The complainant said this occurred at about noon.
Friday, November 5, 2021
- 12:07 PM. The officer assisted the Boone County Deputy with a residential burglar alarm at 488 250th Street. This was determined to be a false alarm.
- 3:15 PM. The officer investigated a 2-vehicle accident resulting in property damage only at G Avenue and 220th Street. Chad Dobney, 49, of Ogden, was stopped at the southbound stop sign at G Avenue/220th Street when his 2021 Ram truck was struck from behind by Faith
Louk, 16, of Grand Junction, Iowa, who was driving a 2010 Ford. There is approximately $1000 damage to Dobney’s vehicle and $2,000 damage to Louk’s vehicle.
- 6:32 PM. The officer assisted the subject locked out of the vehicle.
Saturday, November 6, 2021
- 3:34. AM. Deputy assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance.
- 9:55 AM. The officer assisted the Clear Lake Police Department by contacting a subject to tell her that Clear Lake PD had her wallet.
- 11:01 AM. The officer investigated a 2-vehicle accident in the 600 block of S 1st Street. Brad Wilson, 65, of Ogden, was making a U-Turn on S 1st Street driving a 1998 Ram and struck a 2007 Chevrolet driven by Kaleob Lingelbach, 26, of Ogden. There was approximately $2000.00 damage to the Lingelbach vehicle and $1,000.00 damage to the. Wilson vehicle.
- 2:03 PM. The officer provided traffic control in the 900 block of N 1st Street while cattle were moved from one pasture to another.

- 2:00 PM. Ogden officer and 2 Ogden Firemen participated in a birthday parade for a 2- 2-year-old girl.
