- 1:45 PM. The officer assisted a stranded motorist.
Tuesday, January 11, 2022
- 10:28 AM. The officer investigated a complaint of a reckless driver on Highway 30. The officer located the vehicle, and the driver was ok.
- 10:03 PM. The deputy investigated a security alarm at 413 SE 4th St. This was set off accidentally by the homeowner.
Wednesday, January 12, 2022
- 8:31 AM. The officer assisted the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation, Iowa State Patrol, with a search warrant at 355 SW 5th St. Investigation is ongoing.
- 3:20 PM. The officer assisted a stranded motorist.
- 7:06 PM. The deputy did a welfare check at 108 W. Walnut St.
Thursday, January 13, 2022
- 9:49. AM. Joyce Hiebert reported her miniature pinscher dog had run away.
- 12:39PM. The officer received a report of a miniature pinscher dog running loose in the 700 block of 216th Street. The officer notified Joyce Hiebert so she could go and catch her dog.
- 8:50 PM. Deputies arrested Laurie Larsen, 42, of Ogden, on an outstanding Boone County Warrant.
Friday, January 14, 2022
- 10:53 AM. Ogden resident reported that the back door looked like it had been tampered with. Upon discussion with the officer, it was decided the door may not have been shut completely, and the wind blew it open.
- 11:48 AM. The officer was asked to check on the welfare of the Ogden resident. The resident was fine.
- 1:04 PM. Ogden officer Ogden Sewer, Superintendent, and Ogden Street employee provided traffic control for a funeral leaving Community Methodist Church going to Mineral Ridge Cemetery in Ridgeport.
- 4:15 PM. Ogden officers checked on the welfare of 2 male children. The boys were fine.
- 11:24 PM. The officer tried to assist a vehicle that was stuck on the shoulder of the road at NE 3rd and Sycamore Street. The vehicle was going to be left for the night.
Saturday, January 15, 2022
- 1:45 AM. The officer received a report of a subject walking in the 100 block of West Walnut Street. The officer was unable to locate anyone in the area.
- 8:00 AM. The officer assisted a motorist who was stuck in the snow.
- 8:25 AM. The officer gave a pedestrian a ride to her residence.
- 9:30 AM. The officer assisted a motorist who was stuck in the snow.
- 2:00 PM. The officer received a complaint of air being let out of tires on three vehicles in the 200 block of SE 4th Street. One of the complainants said he saw two subjects walking down the street and stopping by the vehicles during the snow on Friday night.
- 5:02 PM. The officer provided traffic control as a tow truck pulled a vehicle out of the ditch on the westbound 220th Street off-ramp onto H Avenue.
- 5:32 PM. The officer assisted in pushing a motorist that was stuck in the snow.
- 6:20 PM. The officer assisted the stranded motorist.
Sunday, January 16, 2022
- 2:25 PM. The officer helped get a car out of a snowdrift in the alley behind 620 W Walnut Street.
- 4:41 PM. The officer was dispatched to look for a maroon Toyota Highlander with out-of-state plates driving recklessly from the 4-way stop in Boone and headed west on 220th Street. The vehicle went south on L Avenue, so the Ogden officer disregarded it.
