Monday, October 9, 2023
- 10:39 AM. The officer returned a phone call regarding a complaint about a local small business. The Iowa Division of Labor was contacted.

Tuesday, October 10, 2023
- 9:07 AM. The officer attempted to locate a dog running at large in the 200 block of SW 9th Street. The dog eluded the officer throughout the morning but was captured in the 200 block of SW 6th St at approximately 1:51 PM and returned home. The owner, 48-year-old Joey Martin of Ogden, was cited and released for Animals at Large Prohibited.
- 7:04 PM. The officer investigated a report of criminal mischief at the City Park. Arrangements were made for the juvenile suspect to replace the property that was damaged, and he has been banned from the park until spring.

Wednesday, October 11, 2023
- 2:06 AM. The deputy responded to a fire alarm in the 700 block of W Division St. It was determined to be false.
- 7:47 AM. The officer assisted the Boone County Sheriff’s Office with a search warrant in the 100 block of S 1st St. 23-year-old Mason Murphy, of Ogden, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.
- 2:49 PM. The officer assisted with a family issue in the city park. The issue was peacefully resolved.

Thursday, October 12, 2023
- 6:12 AM. The subject called in wishing to report a domestic dispute in the 200 block of W Elm St that had already occurred and both parties were separated. The investigation is ongoing.
- 6:46 AM. The deputy checked on a disabled vehicle in the 200 block of NW 4th St. The vehicle was well off the roadway and posed no hazard to traffic.
- 8:53 AM. The officer responded to a juvenile tobacco infraction in the 700 block of W Division St. Parents were notified, and the item was confiscated.

Friday, October 13, 2023
- 12:52 PM. The officer investigated a complaint of a vehicle blocking the alley west of the 100 block of SW 3rd St. The Officer spoke with the owner, who was cleaning out a storage unit and stated they would get moved shortly.
- 2:00 PM. The officer assisted with a vehicle unlock in the 100 block of SW 2nd St.

- 10:40 AM. The deputy took a theft report in the 600 block of E Oak St. The investigation is ongoing.

Sunday, October 15, 2023
- 5:56 AM. The deputy assisted with a medical call in the 100 block of E Locust St.
