Monday, October 2, 2023
- 10:56 AM. The officer took a report of an abandoned silver 26” men’s Huffy Highland bicycle in the 300 block of W Sycamore St. The bicycle was moved to the city shed for safekeeping.
- 11:06 AM. The officer was flagged down by an individual in the 100 block of W Division St. needing medical attention. The officer transported the patient to City Hall to meet with medical personnel.

Tuesday, October 3, 2023
- 10:48 AM. The officer responded to a medical alarm in the 200 block of E Veterans Dr. It was determined to be false.
- 10:51 AM. The officer returned a phone call regarding a theft report. The caller was referred to the appropriate agency.
- 3:19 PM. The officer assisted with a vehicle unlock in the 300 block of SW 9th St.
- 4:53 PM. The officer investigated a report of a suspicious male abusing a dog. The male and dog were later located, and the dog appeared to be in good shape. The owner was advised of the complaint and given suggestions on responsible pet ownership.
- 10:29 PM. The officer conducted a welfare check in the 300 block of S 1st St. The Officer subsequently transported the subject to the Boone County Hospital for a mental evaluation.

Wednesday, October 4, 2023
- 8:27 AM. The officer investigated a disconnected 911 call in the 700 block of W Division St. The Officer made contact with staff at the Ogden Middle/High School and verified that everything was fine and that it was accidental.
- 9:42 AM. The officer investigated a report of shoplifting in the 100 block of W Veterans Dr. The victim, Casey’s General Store, did not wish to press charges but had the suspect served with a trespass notice.
- 5:27 PM. The officer responded to a dog at large call in the 200 block of S 1st St. The owner was identified, and the dog was returned home and secured properly.
- 5:41 PM. The officer and deputy responded to a motor vehicle collision near the Highway 30 offramp.
- 9:35 PM. Officers and deputies investigated a domestic dispute in the 400 block of NE 4th St. It was determined to be a verbal dispute only.

Thursday, October 5, 2023
- 8:20 AM. The officer investigated a report of an injured animal near S 1st St, and E Mulberry St. The Officer was unable to locate any injured animals.
- 3:17 PM. The officer investigated a report of a reckless driver traveling eastbound into town. The suspect vehicle was located unoccupied and legally parked in the 300 block of W Walnut St.
- 4:15 PM. The officer took a report of a domestic dispute involving an intoxicated partner. The reporting party did not wish to pursue charges, and the officer assisted with finding a place for the suspect to go.

Friday, October 6, 2023
- 9:43 AM. The officer assisted with gaining entry into a residence in the 200 block of SW 3rd St after a new key failed to work.
- 4:45 PM. The officer attempted to locate a reported reckless driver traveling westbound from L Ave on Highway 30. The officer did not find a vehicle matching the description given.

Saturday, October 7, 2023
- 12:34 AM. The officer went en route to assist with a vehicle pursuit traveling northbound on Highway 169 from Dallas County. The vehicle was stopped near H Ave and 310th St.
- 10:39 PM. Deputies responded to a report of a runaway child in the 400 block of SW 4th St. The child was located a short time later by his brother and returned home.

Sunday, October 8, 2023
- 8:28 AM. The deputy assisted with a vehicle unlock in the 300 block of W Walnut St.
- 1:04 PM. The deputy responded to an assault-in-progress in the 500 block of W Mulberry St. The Victim refused to press charges, but the suspect was trespassed from the property.
- 7:15 PM. The deputy assisted with an out-of-control child in the 300 block of S 1st St. The child had significantly calmed down before the deputy’s arrival, and the deputy counseled the child on the consequences of his actions.
- 9:24 PM. Deputies arrested 63-year-old male Mark Riddle, of Ogden, on an outstanding warrant.
