Police Report 10/20/2025-10/26/2025

Monday, October 20, 2025
-1:57AM. Deputy responded to a report of a subject experiencing a mental health crisis. This had been part of an ongoing series of events and the patient was ultimately taken to the hospital for treatment and evaluation.
-2:22PM. Officer took a report of a violation of a no-contact-order. The investigation is ongoing.

Tuesday, October 21, 2025
-1:38PM. Officer assisted with a medical call in the 100 block of SW 8th St.

Wednesday, October 22, 2025
-4:35PM. Officer took a barking dog complaint in the 300 block of E Walnut St. Officer located the residence and made contact with the owner.

Thursday, October 23, 2025
-3:49PM. Officer took a report of an assault in 600 block of E Oak St.
-6:24PM. Officer took a report of a 4 wheeler driving around the area of the 400 block of E Mulberry St.

Friday, October 24, 2025
-3:18PM. Officer responded to a report of a disabled vehicle just north of the 1st St railroad crossing. Officer had to redirect all northbound traffic from 1st St and Walnut St until the vehicle could be towed out of the roadway.
-5:09PM. Deputy spoke with a subject who had a question about removing an unwanted party from her home. The deputy explained the eviction process since the unwanted party was an established resident of the home.

Saturday, October 25, 2025
-8:32AM. Deputy assisted with a medical call in the 600 block of W Walnut St.
-9:00PM. Deputy removed and rehomed an unwanted opossum from the 400 block of E Sycamore St.

Sunday, October 26, 2025
-No reported activity.

NOTE: Open burning runs through November 30th. Any burning of landscape shall not start before 10am and must be completely extinguished each day by 8pm. Recreational fires such as firepits and grills may be used at any time. Burning garbage, treated/sawn wood, or tires is still prohibited. Please use common sense while burning and be courteous of your neighbors.
