Monday, October 16, 2023
- 12:34 PM. The officer conducted a welfare check in the 100 block of E Locust St. The subject was found to be fine.
- 12:36 PM. The officer responded to the 400 block of SE 2nd St to assist an individual having a mental health crisis. The officer stayed on scene with the individual until mental health professionals and medical personnel arrived.
- 2:09 PM. The officer returned a phone call regarding a reported theft. This was discovered to be a civil issue that is currently in litigation.
- 2:38 PM. The officer attempted to locate a reckless driver last seen traveling westbound on Highway 30 from the City of Boone. Officers and deputies were unable to locate it.

- 12:36 PM. The officer investigated a report of criminal mischief that had taken place in the 700 block of W Division St. The investigation is ongoing.
- 2:28 PM. The officer returned a phone call regarding harassment. The suspect was contacted and agreed to have no further contact with the reporting party.
- 2:32 PM. The officer returned a phone call regarding harassment. The investigation is ongoing.
- 3:07 PM. The officer took a report of children walking eastbound on the railroad tracks near the 400 block of E Walnut St. The Officer went to the 600 block of E Walnut St and was unable to locate anyone on the tracks.

- 3:22. AM. Deputies assisted with a medical call in the 500 block of NW 3rd St.
- 7:51AM. The officer investigated a fire alarm in the 100 block of SW 8th St. There was a grease spill in the oven smoking, but there was no fire.
- 9:54 AM. The officer investigated a mysterious substance located in the 100 block of W Veterans Dr. The substance was field tested for the presence of narcotics and yielded a negative result.
- 1:16 PM. The officer took a report of criminal mischief in the 600 block of Haws Dr. The investigation is ongoing.
- 1:53 PM. The officer returned a phone call regarding a question about mental health commitments.
- 2:13 PM. The officer stood by for a civil property dispute in the 100 block of W Maple St.
- 5:52 PM. The officer assisted deputies with a mental health commitment in the 400 block of NE 4th St.
- 8:55 PM. The officer responded to a medical alarm in the 400 block of E Walnut St. The patient was found to be fine.

- 8:22. PM. Deputies investigated a report of a reckless driver in the 600 block of E Walnut St.

- 5:10PM. The deputy responded to the 300 block of NW 4th St to investigate a report of abuse. The report was unfounded.
