Notice of Public Hearing Howe Upgrades

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Ogden City Council for the City of Ogden, will hold a public hearing for the proposed Howe City Park Project as described below, on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at 6:15 p.m. at City Hall, located at 513 W Walnut Street, Ogden, Iowa. At that time, any interested person may appear and file objections to the proposed plans,
specifications and form of contract and cost of the improvements.
The work includes, but is not limited to: Demolition of existing little league / softball fields and related structures. Construction of new little league / softball fields, dugouts, lights, fencing, paving, and bleachers. New gravel parking surfaces and ADA accessible pathways and parking. Mechanical and electrical infrastructure to serve the current project and prepare for future phases.
The work shall commence approximately March 2026 and Substantial Completion of the Project shall be May 31, 2026.
