Tee-Ball (4YO - K)

The City of Ogden offers Summer Tee-Ball for 4YO - K. All games are played in Ogden against other Ogden teams.

Volunteer Expectations:

• 1 practice/week
• 1 game/week

Equipment:

• No jewelry allowed.
• Athletic shoes or cleats.
• Glove.

Jersey Options:

Jerseys for Tee-Ball will be t-shirts with no additional charge for t-shirts.

Youth Soccer (PreK/4YO - 4th Grade)

The City of Ogden offers Spring and Fall Youth Soccer leagues for athletes ages 4 - 4th grade. 

• Spring League: Games on Saturdays in April/May
• Fall League: Games on Saturdays in September/October

U6 (PreK/4 YO - K)
Plays other Ogden teams. All games are in Ogden. 

U8 (1st/2nd)
Plays in league with Paton-Churdan, Greene County, and a home/home with Boone Soccer Club

U10 (3rd/4th)
Games based on enrollment; have played Ames and Boone in the past.

Volunteer Expectations: 

• U6 Coaches - 1 practice/week for 45min - 1 hr + Saturday games
• U8/U10 Coaches - 2 practices/week for 1 hr + Saturday/Tuesday games

Skills Camp:

We will host a skills camp before teams are established to be able to make sure teams are evenly distributed.

Equipment:

• No jewelry allowed.
• Athletic shoes or soccer cleats (no front cleat allowed)
• Shin guards under long socks.

Jersey Options:

For U8/U10 Teams, all jerseys will be the same and reversible. There are two options for getting jerseys. You can buy the jersey for $20, or you can lease the jersey for $7/season and your $7 will be returned via check when the jersey is returned. 

U6 Jerseys are included in cost and will be tshirts.

Youth Softball and Baseball (1st - 6th Grade)

The City of Ogden offers Summer Baseball/Softball for athletes grades 1st - 6th

Games: weeknights May - mid June.

• U8 (1st/2nd)
• U10 (3rd/4th)
• U12 (5th/6th)

Volunteer Expectations: 
Due to the size of this league, all families are needed to volunteer for concession duty or coaching. Registration is $30 if the family volunteers for the concession stand or coaching. You may buy out any volunteer responsibilities for $20 additional.

Coaching expectations:

• Practice - 2x/week starting late March/April
• 1-2 games/week May-Mid June

Equipment:

• No jewelry allowed.
• Athletic shoes or softball/baseball cleats (soccer cleats can be used for softball/baseball).
• Softball/Baseball glove.
• Helmets and bats are provided.

Jersey Options:

All jerseys will be the same and reversible. There are two options for getting jerseys. You can buy the jersey for $20, or you can lease the jersey for $7/season, and your $7 will be returned via check when the jersey is returned at the end of the season.

Boys Youth Basketball (3rd - 6th)

Ogden Parks and Rec offers Boys Youth Basketball for 3rd - 6th grade (3rd/4th and 5th/6th). The season runs mid October through December. We run a league including surrounding towns with games on Saturdays. Time committment for practice is 1x-2x/week.

Girls Youth Basketball (3rd-6th)

Ogden Parks and Rec offers Girls Youth Basketball for 3rd - 6th grade (3rd/4th and 5th/6th). The season runs mid October through December. We run a league including surrounding towns with games on Saturdays. Time committment for practice is 1x-2x/week.

Tiny Tykes Basketball (Pre-K - 2nd)

Ogden Youth Parks and Rec offers Tiny Tykes basketball for Pre-K (4 years old) - 2nd grade. Tiny Tykes is a skill camp for 4 Saturdays in January with a weather makeup in February. We offer 3 different skill levels to choose from:

1. Beginners (no basketball experience)
2. Novice (some basketball experience)
3. Moderate (ready to start playing more game scenarios)
