Monday, September 28, 2026
-8:41PM. Officer took a report of a juvenile ringing a doorbell and then running off. There was a 15-minute time delay, but the officer was able to identify the suspect later that night and contacted parents.

Tuesday, September 29, 2026
-8:22AM. Officer took a report of a loose dog that had attacked another dog in the 300 block of S 1st St. Officer located the dog and contacted the owner who was out of town. The other dogs at the residence were secured inside of a fenced-in backyard and the loose one eventually made its way back in as well. Officer walked the fence with the owner to assist in finding how the dog was escaping and offered solutions on how to better secure it. Officer also spoke with the reporting party who clarified that a dog was not attacked but the loose dog had run towards a lady walking her dog.
-10:26AM. Officer was contacted by the Ogden Schools Superintendent about a complaint he had received regarding an incident that had happened the night before involving students. Officer accompanied the superintendent to the residence in the 700 block of W Oak St to take the report. On the night of Monday, September 28, 2026, a student who was out “Teepeeing” with his friends had knocked on a window and inadvertently broken it in the process. The student alerted the homeowners and parents were notified immediately. The student and parent made arrangements to rectify the incident. The reporting party did not wish to pursue charges.
-1:55PM. Officer was notified by administration at the Ogden High School that it had been overheard in the school that a group of students may have stolen a stop sign somewhere in western Boone County overnight. The Boone County Sheriff’s Office was also notified. Officer located the stop sign in the back of a student’s truck in the OHS parking lot and returned it to the Boone County Shed here in Ogden.
-9:42PM. Officer responded to a medical alarm in the 600 block of Haws Dr.
-10:39PM. Officer assisted with a medical call in the 200 block of W Veterans Dr.

-No reported activity.

Thursday, October 1, 2026
-10:58AM. Officer conducted a welfare check on a subject in the 700 block of W Locust St who was not answering her phone. Officer made contact with the subject who stated she had accidentally left her phone at the reporting party’s house the previous night.
-12:25PM. Officer took a scam report in the 300 block of W Veterans Dr. The reporting party had received a text message and phone call from a number claiming to be Apple Support. The scammer stated that they needed the victim’s log-in information to fix an issue and subsequently accessed the victim’s “Chime” account and obtained banking information. The scammer then used that banking information to make multiple unauthorized purchases.

Friday, October 2, 2026
-10:10AM. Officer and deputy took a report of a possibly intoxicated driver leaving the 400 block of NW 3rd St. Deputy located the vehicle at a residence in the county and made contact with the driver who did not display any signs of intoxication.
-4:04PM. Deputy provided a vehicle unlock at the intersection of SE 2nd St and E Division St.
-7:10PM. Deputy responded to a report of criminal mischief in the 300 block of E Walnut St. As a result of the investigation, 18-year-old Brezlin Siders of Boone and 19-year-old Brody Benge of Ogden, were both arrested for criminal mischief.

Saturday, October 3, 2026
-10:59AM. Deputy took a report of discarded jeans in the 200 block of S 1st St. Deputy confirmed that they were indeed just a pair of discarded jeans.

Sunday, October 4, 2026
-7:07PM. Deputy took a report of criminal mischief in the 600 block of W Elm St. The investigation is ongoing.
