Monday, July 20, 2026
-8:09AM. Officer took a complaint of a tractor and trailer parked on private property in the 400 block of W Walnut St. The driver was contacted and asked to remove the vehicle.
-8:21AM. Officer took a report of an open-line 911 call at the Ogden Elementary School. It was an accidental dial by an employee.
-9:11AM. Deputy responded to a report of flooding near the intersection of SE 6th St and E Walnut St.

Tuesday, July 21, 2026
-Bikes, bikes, and more bikes.
-8:31AM. Officer responded to a report of debris on W Division St between S 1st St and SW 5th St. The street department was aware and brought out the street sweeper.
-10:12AM. Officer took a report of a loose dog in the 600 block of E Maple St. Officer called the reporting party and told them who the owner was so they could return the dog.
-2:07PM. Officer took a report of harassment in the 100 block of E Veterans Dr. The suspect was contacted via phone and warned to cease all contact.
-6:31PM. Officer assisted with locating a lost bag in the 1400 block of H Ave so it could be returned to the owner.

Wednesday, July 22, 2026
-2:31PM. Officer located 34-year-old Amanda Teter, in the 100 block of SW 8th St. Teter had an active warrant out of Story County. Teter was arrested and transported to the City of Ames where she was remanded to the custody of a Story County Deputy.

Thursday, July 23, 2026
-3:26AM. Deputy responded to a report of trespassing in the 600 block of NW 7th St. An unwanted boyfriend had already left the property prior to the deputy’s arrival.
-4:33PM. Officer provided a vehicle unlock in the 300 block of W Elm St.
-7:09PM. Officer provided a jump start for a vehicle in the 500 block of E Walnut St.

Friday, July 24, 2026
-12:23PM. Officer responded to a barking dog complaint in the 300 block of E Walnut St. The dog was no longer barking upon arrival, and the officer stayed in the area to ensure there were no more issues.

Saturday, July 25, 2026
-9:35AM. Deputy responded to a report of a dog bite in the 500 block of E Walnut St. Off-duty officer responded to assist with identifying and locating the dog. As a result of the investigation, 26-year-old Hunter Swanson-Arthur, was issued a citation for having dogs at large.

Sunday, July 26, 2026
-8:30PM. Deputies responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle that had been left in the middle of the road in the 300 block of S 1st St. The registered owner was contacted, and arrangements were made to have the vehicle moved.
