Monday, June 29, 2026
-12:49AM. Deputy assisted with a medical call in the 200 block of NW 7th St.
-11:59AM. Officer responded to a motor vehicle collision in the 200 block of W Cherry St. An information exchange was completed.
-12:43PM. Officer followed up on a shoplifting incident from the previous week at Fareway. After an unsuccessful attempt at lying, the juvenile suspect was escorted to the store to make a formal apology and pay for the items taken. Parents of the other children present at the time were also contacted and made arrangements to make their own apologies.
Tuesday, June 30, 2026
-9:18AM. Officer returned a phone call regarding suspicious activity in the 300 block of SE 4th St.
-10:47AM. Officer returned a phone call regarding a civil standby for a child custody exchange. The exchange occurred later that afternoon without incident.
-3:35PM. Officer assisted with returning a loose dog back to its owner in the 600 block of Haws Dr.

-8:49AM. Officer took a report of a reckless driver who ran the stop sign at E Walnut St and SE 6th St. By the time the officer was called the driver was traveling east bound on Highway 30 at high speeds.

-11:51AM. Officer took a nuisance complaint of overgrown weeds in the 200 block of SW 6th St.
-9:42PM. Deputies responded to a report of a domestic dispute in the 300 block of E Mulberry St. The dispute was verbal only and both parties were separated for the night.
Saturday, July 4, 2026
-2:32AM. Deputies responded to a report of a domestic dispute in the 400 block of Peterson Dr. It was determined to be a verbal dispute between family members.
-2:41PM. Deputy responded to a fireworks complaint in the 100 block of W Sycamore St.
-6:41PM. Deputy responded to a medical alarm in the 600 block of Haws Dr. It was a false alarm.
-11:04PM. Deputy responded to a fireworks complaint near the intersection of NE 4th St and E Elm St.

-3:36PM. Deputy was flagged down by a citizen in the 100 block of W Veterans Dr who needed assistance with getting directions.
