Police Report 4/28-5/4/2025
Monday, April 28, 2025
- 1:20 PM. The officer responded to a civil property dispute in the 500 block of NW 6th St. Both parties were making arrangements to have their issue addressed by the court.
Tuesday, April 29, 2025
- 1:13 PM. The officer investigated a report of a parking complaint in the 400 block of W Division St. The vehicles were moved without incident.
- 4:27 PM. The officer assisted a stranded motorist in the 200 block of W Walnut St with getting gas for his vehicle.
- 5:32 PM. The officer responded to a report of a runaway in the 700 block of W Division St. The child was quickly located and returned home.
Wednesday, April 30, 2025
- 11:00 AM. The officer cited and released a 15-year-old male for 2 counts of simple assault. The juvenile was released to the care of the Ogden Middle School per his guardian.
- 2:16 PM. The officer took a report of a grill lying in the middle of the alleyway located between the 300 blocks of NE 3rd and NE 4th St. The owners were notified, and they had it moved.
- 5:18 PM. The officer followed up on an animal complaint in the 100 block of E Locust St.
Thursday, May 1, 2025
- 9:40 AM. The officer took a report of a reckless driver heading northbound into Ogden from H Ave. The suspected driver was also reported to have “blown a kiss” to the reporting party. The officer’s response was delayed due to a train, but he was unable to locate the suspect vehicle or any drivers blowing kisses.
- 4:35 PM. The officer received a complaint that all the crossing arms were down, and there was no train. The Union Pacific Railroad was contacted.
Friday, May 2, 2025
- 8:36 AM. The officer responded to the 300 block of S 1st St for an unruly child. The child was calm upon arrival, and the officer assisted with contacting outside resources.
- 2:27 PM. Officer took a report of property damage in the 500 block of SW 5th St. This is a civil issue being handled between both parties.
- 2:56 PM. Officers and deputies responded to Ogden City Hall to meet with 2 drivers who had been involved in a road rage incident on Highway 30 west of Ogden that had also been previously called in as possible street racing. Both drivers were warned about the poor choices they had made and sent on their way.
- 5:04 PM. The officer responded to a report of a vehicle with a reckless and angry driver last seen near the area of Dollar General. The officer was unable to locate the vehicle.
Saturday, May 3, 2025
- 5:51 PM. Deputy responded to a burning complaint in the 300 block of SE 4th St. The man burning had a hose with him, was monitoring the fire, and was burning within the allowed time limits.
- 9:17 PM. The deputy responded to a report of a possible traffic hazard near W Vine St and N 1st St.
Sunday, May 4, 2025
- 2:35 AM. The deputy responded to a complaint of a barking dog in the 200 block of NE 4th St. The deputy located the dog, made contact with the owner, and had the dog brought inside.
- 3:16 AM. The deputy assisted with a medical call in the 500 block of NE 4th St.
