Police Report 4/13/2026-4/19/2026

Monday, April 13, 2026
-4:55PM. Deputy took a report of a reckless e-bike in the high school parking lot. Deputy located two kids and spoke with them about the complaint and safe riding practices.
-7:10PM. Deputy located, and subsequently arrested, 19-year-old Marshall Nicholson, of Ogden, on an active Boone County arrest warrant.

Tuesday, April 14, 2026
-1:47PM. Officer took a report of a hit and run that had occurred the previous night during the track meet at the Ogden High School.
-10:06PM. Officer and deputy assisted with a medical call in the 300 block of NW 4th St.

Wednesday, April 15, 2026
-6:05PM. Officer conducted a welfare check on a subject in the 300 block of NW 4th St. The subject in question was transported by family to Mary Greeley Medical Center for evaluation.

Thursday, April 16, 2026
-8:48AM. Officer took a report of a stranded motorist in the 700 block of US Highway 30. Officer took the driver and passenger into town while they waited for help to arrive.
-3:02PM. Officer returned a phone call regarding concerns of a missing dog in town.
-3:22PM. Officer conducted a welfare check on a child in the 200 block of SW 5th St. The child was found to be fine and both parents were contacted via phone.

Friday, April 17, 2026
-1:10PM. Officer responded to a motor vehicle collision at the Ogden Casey’s.
-1:57PM. Officer took a report of a dog at large near W Veterans Dr and SW 4th St. The officer recognized the description of the dog and verified that it had returned home in the 600 block of NW 4th St.
-10:45PM. Officer and deputy located, and subsequently arrested 53-year-old Joseph Ewig, of Ogden, on an active arrest warrant out of Ames, IA.

Saturday, April 18, 2026
-9:10PM. Deputies located, and subsequently arrested 35-year-old Cody Devilbiss, of Lake City, IA on active warrants out of Ogden and Guthrie County.

Sunday, April 19, 2026
-7:19AM. Deputies responded to an anonymous report of a female in a blue hoody and sweatpants throwing clumps of dirt at passing cars. Deputies searched town but were unable to locate anyone matching the description.
-11:11AM. Deputy took a report of theft in the 100 block of SW 8th St. The deputy discovered this was a civil property dispute between family members.
-9:11PM. Deputy conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of SW 5th St and W Oak St. As a result of the traffic stop, 36-year-old Daniel Lloyd, of Ogden, was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated-1st offense, Open container, and Careless Driving.
