Monday, March 2, 2026
-7:36PM. Deputies responded to a report of a fight in the 200 block of SW 4th St. As a result of the investigation, 67-year-old Steven Kindred, of Ogden, was placed under arrest for assault causing bodily injury.

Tuesday, March 3, 2026
-8:44AM. Officer responded to a report of a lost dog that had been found in the 200 block of SW 2nd St. Officer recognized the dog and returned it home to the 200 block of SW 4th St.

Wednesday, March 4, 2026
-7:58AM. Officer responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision in the Ogden High School parking lot. There was minor damage and no reported injuries. An information exchange was completed.
-12:16PM. Officer conducted a welfare check on a subject in the 400 block of SE 2nd St. The subject was found to be fine and was encouraged to call the reporting party back.

Thursday, March 5, 2026
-11:25AM. Officer responded to a complaint of a traffic hazard in the 200 block of NE 3rd St. A tree removal company was advised about utilizing traffic cones in the future.
-5:18PM. Officer responded to a report of a juvenile driving recklessly on an ATV near the 400 block of W Maple St. Officer made contact with the child at a residence in the 300 block of NW 4th St.

Friday, March 6, 2026
-11:00AM. Officer took a call regarding a scam. The reporting party stated they received information stating that they owed $50 for outstanding toll fines. The reporting party found this to be strange since they were blind and couldn’t drive anyway. This has been a popular scam for a couple of years now and thankfully no money or information was given out this time.
-7:26PM. Officer assisted the Ogden Fire Department with a smell of smoke at a residence in the 900 block of N 1st St.

Saturday, March 7, 2026
-10:36AM. Deputy provided a welfare check on a subject in the 200 block of E Division St who was not answering their phone. The person in question was found to be fine and had simply misplaced their phone.
-12:56PM. Deputy assisted with a combative patient at ACCURA Healthcare.

Sunday, March 8, 2026
-12:13PM. Deputy provided a welfare check on a subject in the 300 block of W Walnut St who had not been seen or heard from. The person in question was found to be fine and stated they would call the reporting party back.
-3:19PM. Deputy assisted with a medical call in the 200 block of E Sycamore St.
-10:58PM. Deputies responded to the 400 block of W Cherry St for a report of stolen dogs. The investigation is ongoing.

Monday, March 9, 2026
-3:20PM. Deputy responded to a report of a student riding on the trunk of a small black car leaving the OHS parking lot and traveling north. Deputy was unable to locate the vehicle.
-9:36PM. Deputy responded to a civil custody dispute in the 100 block of SE 2nd St. The reporting party was encouraged to petition the courts for scheduled visitation.

Tuesday, March 10, 2026
-8:03AM. Officer responded to Highway 30 regarding a report of a reckless driver traveling westbound from Boone. Officer conducted a traffic stop near Highway 30 and G Ave. The driver did not show any signs of impairment.
-3:49PM. Officer met with a child and their parents regarding an incident of harassment that had taken place after school. All involved parties and their parents were spoken to in an effort to resolve the situation.
-4:36PM. Officer was given an Apple AirTag that had been located in Ames by their child. Officer was unable to gain enough information on the device to locate an owner.
-10:38PM. Officer and deputy responded to an open-line 911 call in the 200 block of S 1st St. There was a family dispute going on that had been resolved.

Wednesday, March 11, 2026
-1:36PM. Officer found a car with its door wide open in the Fareway parking lot with recently purchased groceries within. The officer went inside to locate the owner, who was fine, and had just forgotten to purchase something else.
-2:04PM. Officer took a report of harassment in the 100 block of W Walnut St. The suspect was served a trespass notice and warned about ceasing contact with the reporting party.
-7:13PM. Officer and deputies responded to a report of trespassing in the 300 block of E Elm St. The couple on scene were looking for their adult son who was not found on the property.
-8:17PM. Officer took a report of an assault in the 600 block of E Oak St.

Thursday, March 12, 2026
-2:54PM. Officer responded to a report of a student in possession of a tobacco product at the Ogden Middle/High School.
-3:18PM. Officer responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision in the Ogden Middle/High School parking lot. This was a minor damage collision involving a parked car and no injuries. An information exchange was completed.
-6:09PM. Officer and deputy responded to a report of an assault in the 200 block of NW 7th St. As a result of the investigation, 61-year-old Melvin Hitsman, of Ogden, was cited and released for simple assault.

Friday, March 13, 2026
-8:25AM. Officer assisted with a medical call in the 300 block of SW 5th St.
