Police Report 1/5/2026-1/11/2026

Monday, January 5, 2026
-7:30AM. Officer assisted with a threat assessment at the Ogden Middle/High School. There was no active threat to the school or community.

Tuesday, January 6, 2026
-3:50PM. Officer checked on a vehicle that had broken down near E Cherry St and N 1st St. The vehicle was partially in the roadway and the owner was making arrangements to have it moved as soon as possible.
-4:09PM. Officer took a report of harassment in the 600 block of NW 7th St. The harassment was discovered to be from spam/telemarketing phone calls.
-5:10PM. Officer took a report of harassment/bullying that was occurring at the Ogden High School. The school had been made aware of the same earlier that afternoon and was in the process of addressing it.

Wednesday, January 7, 2026
-1:16PM. Officer responded to a medical call in the 100 block of SW 8th St. The patient just needed help getting up her steps and into the house.
-3:30PM. Officer took a report of a theft that had occurred at the Ogden Middle/High School. The property was located in the 300 block of NW 7th St and returned.

Thursday, January 8, 2026
-11:07AM. Officer responded to a motor vehicle collision in the 500 block of NW 4th St. An information exchange was completed.
-8:28PM. Officer took a report of a scam. The reporting party stated that he had been messaging with a woman who claimed that she was being held by gunpoint somewhere in Dallas County after getting pulled over for speeding and needed him to send her $20. Dallas county verified that this was a scam, and the reporting party was told to block her number.

Friday, January 9, 2026
-8:48PM. Officer assisted with a medical call at the Ogden High School.
