-9:44AM. Deputy assisted a subject with a sick animal in his yard in the 600 block of NW 3rd St.
Tuesday, January 27, 2026
-4:21PM. Officer investigated harassment in the 400 blk of W. Elm St.
-9:56PM. Officer investigated an incomplete 911 call in the 100 block of SW 8th St.
Wednesday, January 28, 2026
-2:14PM. Deputy responded to a semi rollover at S. 1st. St. and the highway 30 West Bound Off ramp.
Thursday, January 29, 2026
-3:36PM. Officer returned a phone call to HHS regarding a juvenile in the 300 block of N 1st St.
-4:41PM. Officer took a report of a traffic hazard at the intersection of N 1st St and Sycamore St. The street department was made aware of a loose manhole cover.
Friday, January 30, 2026
-A disabled train blocked every crossing in town between 6AM and 9AM. Several calls came in during this time. Most traffic rerouted to J Ave east of town.
Saturday, January 31, 2026
-1:58PM. Deputy assisted with a medical call in the 100 block of SW 4th St.
-5:33PM. Deputy took a report of trespassing in the 600 block of NW 7th St. The incident had occurred the previous week and pictures taken of the suspects appear to be utility workers.
Sunday, February 1, 2026
-2:10PM. Deputy responded to an anonymous complaint of a dog left outside in the cold without shelter in the 100 block of W Maple St. The deputy made contact with the owner who brought the dog inside.
-3:19PM. Lady called in to report that her dog had ran off from the 300 block of NE 4th St. A deputy located the dog a short time later and the owner was able to retrieve it.
AN ARREST WITHOUT DISPOSITION IS NOT AN INDICATION OF GUILT.
