-11:36AM. Deputy investigated a complaint of a traffic hazard at E. Veterans and S. 1st. St. Deputy was unable to locate any hazard.

-No activity reported. 

Thursday, January 1, 2026
-Reports of stolen time and “2025” having vanished. Others reported the same but stated they really weren’t all that worried about it and were ready to move on.

Friday, January 2, 2026
-No reported activity.

Saturday, January 3, 2026
-1:10PM. Deputy assisted with a medical call in the 400 block of SE 2nd St.
-6:16PM. Deputy responded to a report of dogs barking near N 1st St and W Sycamore St. The deputy made contact with the owner by phone who was returning home to get the dog.

Sunday, January 4, 2026
-5:42PM. Deputy took a report of a hit and run that had occurred in the Dollar General parking lot. The only description was two teenage males in a newer white pickup truck. The investigation is ongoing.
