-10:43AM. Officer assisted a subject with a civil matter.
-21:30PM. Deputy investigated a noise complaint at 213 SW 4th St.
Tuesday July 24, 2018
-8:36AM. Officer assisted Boone County Deputies, Ogden First Responders, Ogden Fire and Boone County Ambulance with a 2-vehicle accident involving personal injury at G Avenue and 200th Street.
-9:30AM. An Ogden resident reported suspected mail fraud. Officer advised to contact the Postal Inspector.
-11:11AM. Officer received a complaint of 2 dogs getting in/out of an open kennel at 407 NE 2nd Street. The officer was able to get the dogs back in the kennel and shut the door.
-12:12PM. Officer assisted Ogden First Responders with a medical in the 100 block of SW 2nd Street.
-2:13PM. Officer assisted subject locked out of vehicle.
-2:00PM. A single car key was turned in at Ogden PD. The key was found near the railroad crossing.
-5:41PM. Deputy received a complaint of a juvenile boy had a rock thrown at him by another juvenile boy in the 300 block of NW 8th Street.
-8:08PM. Deputy received a report of a vehicle parked in front of 213 SW 4th all day long. The deputy advised if it was still there tomorrow, we would make contact with the owner of the vehicle.
-9:15PM. Ashley Vaughn reported to Deputy that she found 5 kittens in Boone and brought them home to Ogden and would like to send them to the Humane Society. The Deputy picked up the kittens and took to Boone.

-9:58AM. Officer assisted subject locked out of vehicle.
-10:48AM. Officer spoke with subject who had ridden through town on RAGBRAI on Tuesday. The subject had left his wallet at a vendor table and hadn’t realized until he left town. He spoke with the vendor and the vendor advised she had given to the DJ downtown. The officer is trying to make contact with the DJ to find out what he did with the wallet.
-11:15AM. Officer responded to the City Park to help an individual with a day car child that was out of control.
-9:21PM. Officer received a complaint of subject at 313 SW 6th firing a weapon of some kind. The officer spoke with resident at 313 SW 6th and he denied firing any weapon.

-12:36AM. Officer assisted Deputies with a possible domestic situation at 466 190th Street.
-10:00AM. Officer received a complaint of a lawn not being mowed at 526 E Oak Street. The officer notified the realtor in charge of the property.
-11:25AM. Officer arrested Jeffery Svoboda, 51, of Fort Dodge, on an outstanding warrant from Ames PD for Failure to Appear, original charge Public Intoxication.
-12:20PM. Officer assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance.
-1:45PM. Officer assisted subject locked out of vehicle.
-3:36PM. Officer assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance.
-9:00PM. Officer assisted Boone County Deputy with a subject at 420 NW 4th Street that was urinating in front yard. Deputy warned subject about this activity.
Friday July 27, 2018
-11:00AM. Officer received a complaint of barking dogs at 702 W Locust Street. The officer spoke with owner of the dogs and he advised he would put bark collars on the dogs.
-12:35PM. Officer assisted stranded motorist at westbound off-ramp to South First Street.
-2:17PM. Officer responded to an incomplete 911 call from an Ogden residence.
-2:54PM. An Ogden resident called to report that she is moving on Saturday and needs to have a vehicle removed from property that hasn’t run in months. The vehicle belongs to a friend of hers. The officer contacted the owner of the vehicle and she advised she wants to junk the vehicle. Officer contacted a salvage yard and had the vehicle towed.
Saturday July 28, 2018
-10:05AM. Officer responded to an incomplete 911 call from 466 190th Street due to fact Deputy was busy elsewhere in the county. This was a cell phone call and was the last known address of owner. The phone was actually in Ogden at 449 E Walnut. The officer made contact with subject at 449 E Walnut Street and there was no emergency, just a misdial.
-11:36AM. Officer responded to an incomplete 911 call from 1181 B Avenue as Deputy was busy elsewhere in the county. This was determined to be a phone issue as the subject had dialed another number, and it also called 911. There was no emergency.
-3:02PM. Officer spoke to subject who was burning brush. The officer reminded subject that we cannot burn brush except April 15-May 15 and October 1-November 15.
-3:59PM. Officer was asked to return a call to an individual in regards to a civil matter.
-4:25PM. Officer spoke with subject about burning. The officer advised subject of burning dates April 15-May 15 and October 1-November 15.
Sunday July 29, 2018
-2:14AM. Stacie Bass at 245 W Walnut #3 wanted to speak to a Deputy in regards to her ex-boyfriend was coming over and she did not want him there. When Deputy arrived Stacie would not answer the door.
-10:23AM. Officer received a complaint of bushes that have grown over the sidewalk in the 500 block of E Walnut Street. The officer spoke with resident at 531 E Walnut about the bushes and he advised he will get them trimmed back off the sidewalk in the next couple of weeks.
-12:35PM. Officer responded to a possible domestic situation at 313 E Walnut Street. This was an issue over child visitation and personal property. There were no charges filed.
-2:11PM. An Ogden resident reported getting text messages from her ex-husband and he was calling her names and she didn’t appreciate it.
-5:24PM. Deputy responded to an Ogden residence in regards to a juvenile child not wanting to leave mother’s residence to go with father. This is a civil issue and the father said that he would contact his attorney.
