Monday July 8, 2019

-11:55AM.  Jeffrey Orrell called in and reported that his brake lines had been cut.  Jeffrey called back 15 minutes later and advised Deputy did not respond as quickly as Mr Orrell thought he should, so he advised Deputy not show up at all.

-1:38PM.  Deputy attempted to help subject locked out of vehicle.  Deputy was unable to gain access to vehicle.

-8:10PM.  Camella Elsner reported her canoe stolen from 619 NW 4th Street.  Deputy responded and discovered that Camella owned this canoe with another subject and that subject had removed the canoe.  Camella was advised this was a civil matter.

-9:41PM.  Deputy assisted subject locked out of vehicle.

 

Tuesday July 9, 2019

-6:06AM.  Ogden resident called to report he had caught a dog running loose near the railroad tracks in the 600 block of west Locust Street.  Deputy took the dog to the Boone Area Humane Society.

-11:01AM.  Deputy responded to a fire alarm at Ogden Middle School.  This was determined to be a false alarm.

Thursday July 11, 2019

-4:19PM.  Holly Thompson reported that her German Shorthair dog had gotten loose and was last seen running east from her residence at 614 E Walnut Street.

 

Friday July 12, 2019

-4:08PM.  Ogden officer assisted Boone County Deputy with a traffic stop in the 800 block of 130th Street.

-8:12PM.  Deputy responded to an incident where Ogden resident called and claimed her husband would throw her belongings outside, whenever she left the residence.  The deputy spoke with both parties.

 

Saturday July 1, 2019

-11:13AM.  Officer provided a funeral escort from St John Catholic Church to the St John Catholic Cemetery.

-7:26PM.  Deputy responded to an intrusion alarm at North Middle School.  This was set off by an employee.

 

Sunday July 14, 2019

-10:02PM.  Deputy received a report of 2 females hiding behind cars near North Middle School.  Deputy was unable to locate anyone in the area.

Monday July 1, 2019

-12:50AM.  Boone County Deputies and Ogden officer responded to an intrusion alarm at Swanson Drug.  Upon arrival, deputies noticed the front window was shattered.  The building was cleared and nobody was in the building.  Upon further inspection, the owner could find nothing missing.  This appears to be a criminal mischief.

-6:07AM.  Officers responded to an intrusion alarm at Ogden Middle School.  This was set off by construction workers.

-8:22AM.  Officer returned a cell phone to an Ogden resident.

-12:57PM.  Officer investigated a 2-vehicle accident at S 1st and Veterans Drive.  Brandon Cheville, 46, of Ogden was driving a 2002 Mercury Mountaineer and pulled away from stop sign on Veterans Drive in front of a 2008 Dodge Caravan being driven by Sasha Belieu, 29, of Ogden  There was approximately $3000 damage to vehicle driven by Cheville and $5000 damage to Belieu vehicle.  Cheville was arrested for allegedly driving while barred and cited for failure to obey stop sign.  Owner of Cheville’s vehicle, Shanna Murphy will be cited for Failure to Provide Security Against Liability.  Belieu was cited for Failure to provide Security Against Liability.

-8:12AM.  Steve McCoy called to report that his neighbor’s dog had charged at him while he was in his yard.

-11:50AM.  Officer spoke with Ogden resident in reference to junk on his property.

-12:10PM.  Officer assisted Ogden First Responders, Boone County Ambulance and Boone County Deputy.

-2:22PM.  Officer spoke with owner of property in regards to low hanging branches block view of drivers backing onto street.

-2:42PM.  Officer received a complaint of a possible domestic situation.  There was nobody home when officer arrived.  Officer was able to make contact with female subject and she denied any issues.

-4:00PM.  Ogden officers assisted Boone County Deputy with a 2 vehicle accident in the 1200 block of H Avenue.

-5:10PM.  Officer received a complaint from an Ogden resident about water in his basement.  Officer notified the sewer superintendent.

-10:23PM.  Officer received  complaint of sewer backing up in an Ogden residence.  The officer notified the sewer superintendent.

-10:26PM.  Officer was called to an Ogden residence for a male juvenile that was out of control.

-11:13PM.  Officer received a complaint of water in basement.  Officer notified sewer superintendent.

-11:31PM.  Officer received a complaint of sewer backing up into basement.  Officer notified the sewer superintendent.

 

Thursday July 4, 2019

-10:05AM.  Ogden officer assisted resident with water in her basement.

-10:35AM.  Officer received a complaint of a safety hazard at NW 7th Street railroad crossing.  The cement pads in the middle of tracks had separated and a car tire or motorcycle/bike tire could fall in the space.  Officer blocked of the north bound lane of NW 7th Street at the railroad crossing and notified the Union Pacific Railroad.

-12:45PM.  Officer assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance.

-2:10PM.  Officer assisted subject locked out of vehicle.

-7:26PM.  Officer assisted Boone County Deputy on a traffic stop.

 

Friday July 5, 2019

-8:49PM.  Deputy responded to a complaint of someone lighting fireworks in the 300 block of SE 4th Street.

-9:10PM.  Deputy responded to a complaint of someone lighting fireworks in the 400 block of SE 2nd Street.  Deputy spoke with male subject lighting the fireworks and advised him to stop.

-9:16PM.  Deputy responded to a complaint of juveniles throwing balls against the south car wash walls and making noise.  The deputy was unable to locate any juveniles in the area.

-10:06PM.  Deputy responded to a complaint of someone lighting fireworks in the 200 block of SW 7th Street.  Deputy spoke with subject and advised to stop.

 

Saturday July 6, 2019

-3:01PM.  Deputy discovered an open door on a building.  The deputy notified the owner of the building and he came and checked the building.  There didn’t appear to be anything missing, so the owner secured the building.

-10:00AM.  Officer received a report of a juvenile female walking down the traveled portion of the road in the 800 block of N 1st Street.  Officer went to 822 N 1st and spoke with the little girl, who had made it back home.  Older sister was watching her and the little girl had left without her knowledge.  Officer notified the mother.

-3:49PM.  Officer cited and released Aimee Alderman, 42, of Jefferson, for driving while license suspended.

Monday June 24, 2019

-9:32AM.  Officer investigated a 2-vehicle accident in the 200 block of Haws Drive.  There was less than $1,500.00 damage, so no state report was filed.

-1:15PM.  Officer met with owner of Scott Carnival and assisted with locations to park until they could start setting up Tuesday afternoon.

-11:51PM.  Officer responded to an intrusion alarm at an Ogden business.  The building was secure.  This was determined to be a false alarm.

 

Tuesday June 25, 2019

-6:15AM.  Caseys employee reported a gas drive off that occurred over the weekend.  The subject had used a Hy Vee Fuel Saver card, so the officer was able to contact the individual.

-9:40AM.  Officer assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance.

-2:11PM.  Officer contacted owner of residence that needed mowed.

-3:30PM.  Officer assisted Boone County Deputy with a domestic situation at 201 1st Street in Pilot Mound.

-9:25PM.  Officer received a report of 2 subjects with bags sitting at NW 3rd and Maple Street.  The subjects had just quit working for the carnival and were waiting for a ride from Fort Dodge.

 

Wednesday June 26, 2019

-6:49AM.  Officer was asked to remove a deer from the road, that had been hit near Laurel Lane and 216th intersection.

-8:20AM.  Officer received a complaint of a dog that acts aggressive to neighbor dog.  Officer spoke with the owner of the aggressive acting dog.

-10:25AM.  Officer received a report of an older male in an older silver Chevrolet truck that appeared to be following a high school student while he was out running.  This happened 2 hours before the officer was notified.  The officer was unable to locate a similar truck in the area.

-1:30PM.  Officer spoke with an Ogden resident in regards to lawn needing mowed.

-2:30PM.  Ogden officer assisted Boone County Deputy with a sex offender registry violation.

-3:25PM.  Ogden resident called Officer to report that he could see someone walking around his property taking pictures and wearing a safety vest.  The officer spoke with the subject and he is working with the Boone County Assessor’s Office.

 

Thursday June 27, 2019

-7:10AM.  Officer assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance.

-11:04AM.  Officer returned a call to subject wanting to know about blocking off parking around Masonic Lodge for a gathering on Saturday.

-11:40AM.  Ogden resident reported that her dog had gotten away from her and was dragging leash.  The subject called back a short time later and advised she had caught the dog.

-9:20PM.  Ogden resident reported catching a white shepherd/husky mix dog that was running loose in the 400 block of NW 7th Street.  The officer took the dog to the city kennel.

 

Friday June 28, 2019

-9:45AM  Officer assisted subject locked out of vehicle.

-10:00AM.  Officer received a complaint of vehicles parking in alley, blocking access in and out.  Officer asked drivers of vehicles to move.

-11:04AM.  Ogden resident reported being harassed via text messages.

-3:10PM.  Officer assisted Ogden First Responders.

-4:14PM.  Officer investigated a 2-vehicle accident in the 300 block of NW 2nd Street.  There was less than $1,500 damage, so no state report was filed.

-5:01PM.  Ashley Stauffer reported that her black Puggle Dog had gotten out of the house and is not wearing a collar.

-6:41PM.  Officer arrested Ashley Vaughn, 33, of Ogden on a Boone County Warrant.

-7:26PM.  Officers did a welfare check on an Ogden resident.  The subject was not home.

-9:00PM.  Desiree Padgett reported that her brown/white Husky dog had gotten loose.

-12:40AM.  Joe Erwin reported that he had lost his cellular phone while at the City Park.

-9:40AM. Officer investigated a two vehicle accident in the 700 blk of West Mulberry St.

-1:33PM. Officer assisted a lost motorist in the 500 blk of W. Walnut St.

-2:45PM. Officer assisted with traffic control for a funeral escort.

-5:10PM. Officer assisted a stranded motorist in the 500 blk of S. 1st St.

-6:29PM. Officer assisted Ogden First Responders at 532 S. 1st St.

-8:13PM. Officer assisted a Boone County Deputy with a vehicle in the ditch in the 600 blk of 230th St.

Monday June 17, 2019

-6:15AM.  Officer assisted Boone County Deputy with a traffic stop.

-8:50AM.  Officer assisted motorist locked out of vehicle.

-10:00AM.  Officer received a report of a sick cat in the 600 block of West Cherry Street.  Officer called the Boone Area Humane Society to come and get the cat.

-10:20AM.  Officer talked with Ogden resident about lawn needing mowed.

-2:45PM.  Officer received a complaint of a resident leaving dog tied up outside with no water or shelter.  Officer spoke with owner of dog.

-4:52PM.  Deputy received a complaint from an Ogden resident in regards to a male subject coming to her property, while she is at work and harassing her 16-year-old daughter.  The deputy advised he would look for the subject and advise him to stay away.  The deputy also advised complainant to have daughter call when the male subject comes on the property.

-8:14PM.  Deputy assisted subject locked out of vehicle.

 

Tuesday June 18, 2019

-6:52AM.  Officer received a report of a large yellow lab dog with a collar and a medium sized long hair brown/black colored dog running at large in the 200 block of NW 7th.  The officer was unable to catch the dogs.

-10:20AM.  Officer was asked to look for a black/white Plymouth Barracuda that was making bad passes eastbound on 220th from Beaver.  Officer stopped the vehicle in the 700 block of 220th.  Officer cited Mark Junk, 52, of Ames for Driving Under Suspension, Operation of a non-registered vehicle and Failure to Provide Security Against Liability.  Junk called a couple friends to come and pick him up and drive the vehicle home.

-2:48PM.  Officer assisted subject locked out of vehicle.

-3:45PM.  Officer responded to a reported fight at 113 E Maple Street.  Officer charged Clarence Teter, 54, of Ogden and Shane Teter, 48, of Ogden with Simple Assault.  Both subjects were cited and released with a court date.

-9:21PM.  Deputy assisted subject locked out of vehicle.

-11:40AM. Officer investigated a possible hit and run accident that occurred over a week ago at the Ogden High School Parking lot.

-1:45PM. Officer assisted a subject with a civil matter at 213 N. 1st St.

-5:45PM. Deputy investigated an animal complaint at 507 E Walnut St.

-8:07PM. Deputy assisted a stranded motorist at 102 W. Veterans St.

-11:14PM. Deputy investigated a domestic assault at 113 W. Maple St.

-11:54PM. Deputy assisted a subject at 305 E. Walnut with a medical problem.

Thursday June 20, 2019

-1:02AM. Deputy investigated a animal complaint in the 100 block of West walnut St.

-6:40AM Officer assisted the Story County Sheriff’s Dep’t with a search warrant at 508 W. Division St.

-8:40AM Officer investigated vandalism to property at 631 W. Locust St.

-9:09AM. Officer assisted a Department of Human Services employee with a case.

-5:35PM. Deputies responded to 113 W. Maple for a trespassing complaint. Deputies arrested McCain Kester, 22, of Ogden, on a Boone County warrant.

-6:26PM. Deputy spoke to a subject reference a possible assault complaint.

-7:16PM. Deputy went out at 619 NW 4th St. for a warrant. Deputy arrested Joshua Martinez, 35, of Ogden,  on a Boone County warrant.

-9:15PM. Deputy picked up a loose dog in the 300 block of W. Elm St. Deputy located the animal owner and dog was returned.

 

Friday June 21, 2019

-4:18AM Deputy responded to a fire alarm at 220 Haws dr.

-7:28AM. Officer did a welfare check on a subject at 443 E. Sycamore St.

-1:11PM. Officer served an arrest warrant at 101 W. Vine St. Officer arrested Keaton Barnes, 22, of Ogden, on a Boone County warrant.

-1:59AM.  Deputies assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance.

-2:36PM.  Officer received a complaint of possible child abuse that happened in rural Boone County.  Officer notified Boone County Deputy of the incident.

-4:33PM.  Officer was asked to check on welfare of an Ogden resident.  The subject was not home, but officer was able to make contact with him and he was fine.

-2:48PM. Officer investigated a complaint of a semi losing wood off of his trailer. Officer located the semi and spoke to the driver.

-3:47PM. Officer spoke to a subject about his dog barking and running at large. There will be a follow up with the Boone Humane society.

-11:00AM.  Officer received a complaint of a vehicle making bad passes westbound on 216th from L Avenue.  Officer located vehicle in Ogden and spoke with the driver.

-10:06PM.  Officer received a report of possible shots fired in the 100 block of West Sycamore Street.  The officer located individuals in the 100 block of West Maple lighting off fireworks.

-10:38PM.  Officer discovered street lights out on west Walnut, SW 7th Street and west Division Street.  The officer notified Ogden Municipal Utilities.

-3:33AM. Deputy investigated an intrusion alarm at Howe School. Building appeared secure.

-4:33PM. Deputy investigated an intrusion alarm at Howe School. Building appeared to be secure.

-7:09AM. Deputy investigated harassment at 208 E. Sycamore St.

-1:56PM. Deputies responded to Accura Health 625 E. Oak St. for a resident attempting to leave.

-5:00PM. Deputy investigated a loose animal complaint in the 200 blk of SW 4th St.  The deputy was unable to locate the animal.

 

Tuesday June 4, 2019

-9:19AM.  Officer received a citizen’s complaint form in regards to barking dogs and lawn not being mowed at an Ogden residence.  The officer went to the residence and nobody was home.  The officer will stop back later.

-4:05PM.  Officer assisted another agency in looking for a vehicle.

 

Wednesday June 5, 2019

-7:26PM.  Judy Tonsfeldt of 531 SW 5th reported that a neighbor is driving through her yard.  Officer called and left a message for neighbor to call him.

 

Thursday June 6, 2019

-2:57AM.  Boone County Deputies and Ogden officer responded to an intrusion alarm at Swanson Drug.  A front window was broken out upon deputies arrival and no one was in the building.

-3:55AM.  Deputy responded to a complaint of a bat in a residence.  The deputy was unable to locate the bat.

-6:58AM.  Boone County Deputy and Ogden officer responded to a report of a male subject passed out behind the steering wheel of a vehicle in the 200 block of west Oak Street.  Boone County Deputy arrested Dane Erickson, 19, of Ogden for alleged possession of marijuana, possession of prescription drugs without a prescription and possession of alcohol.

-11:30AM.  Employees of Ogden Reporter caught 2 dogs running at large in the 200 block of west Walnut Street.  The Boone Area Humane Society came and picked up the dogs.

-3:43PM.  Officer assisted subject locked out of vehicle.

-4:42PM.  Ogden officers and Boone County Sheriff’s Deputies executed a search warrant at an Ogden residence.  There were several items recovered that were taken from Swanson Drug Burglaries.

 

Friday June 7, 2019

-1:47AM.  Boone County Deputies and Ogden officer responded to an intrusion alarm at Swanson Drug. Upon Deputies arrival the front window was broken out.

-2:20PM.  Officer assisted subject with an abandoned vehicle on his property.

-4:37PM.  Ogden resident reported possible identity theft.

 

Saturday June 8, 2019

-2:22AM.  Employees of Lucky Pig requested an officer escort them to their cars due to problems with a customer earlier.  Boone County Deputy escorted subjects to their cars.

-8:55AM. Officer responded to an intrusion alarm at Ogden Middle School.  This was set off by a school employee.

-12:07PM.  An Ogden resident reported there is a female at this residence and he wants her to leave.  The female is a friend of his son, but she won’t leave.  The officer advised the female to leave.

-3:35PM.  Officer assisted Boone County Deputy, Iowa State Patrol, Ogden Fire, Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance at a 2 vehicle accident at L Avenue and 220th Street involving personal injury.

 

Sunday June 9, 2019

-8:39PM.  Deputy assisted subject locked out of vehicle.

-10:05PM. Deputy received a complaint from an Ogden resident that neighbor’s dog charged at him in an aggressive manner and this has happened before.  The deputy spoke with the neighbor and advised to keep dog on his property.  If we get another call, the dog will go to the Boone Area Humane Society.

9:03AM. Deputy received a report from Lance DeGeneffe that he had a homemade bank made of PVC pipe and painted orange/black and has Harley Davidson painted on side.  There was approximately $800 in the bank.

-7:23PM.  Deputies responded to a report of an intoxicated female at Ogden Caseys Store.  Deputies found a ride for the individual.

 

Monday May 27, 2019

-5:40AM.  Ogden officer and Boone County Deputy assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance.

-10:35AM.  Officer assisted Ogden Middle School Custodian with flags laying on ground due to rope breaking.

-11:15AM.  Officer assisted Ogden resident that was locked out of residence.

-Officer was asked to look for a red Chevy truck driving east on 220th from Grand Junction at a high rate of speed and making bad passes.  The officer was unable to locate the vehicle.

-5:30PM.  Officer met with motorist at Ogden PD.  The motorist was reporting a vehicle that had thrown a glass bottle at their vehicle near L Avenue and 220th Street.  The bottle did not strike their vehicle.  This information was passed on to Greene County Sheriff’s Department, as the offending vehicle was westbound on 220th Street.

 

Tuesday May 28, 2019

-8:45AM.  Patti Swanson reported that Swanson Drug Store had been broken into overnight.

-12:01PM.  Officer spoke with Ogden resident in regards to lawn needing mowed.

-12:10PM.  Officer received a report of 2 large dogs dragging ropes running at large on west Division Street.  The officer was unable to locate the dogs.

-12:44PM.  Officer responded to a 2-vehicle accident involving personal injury at NW 7th and Elm. Tyler Wisecup, 27, of Ogden was west bound on Elm in a 2002 Chevrolet when a 2006 Chrysler driven by Lola Sorensen, 74, of Ogden who was north bound on NW 7th and failed to Yield at intersection with Elm Street and ran into the driver side of Wisecup’ s vehicle.  There was approximately $5,000 damage to Sorensen’s vehicle and $5,000 damage to Wisecup’s vehicle.  Sorensen was cited for Failure to Obey Yield Sign.

-8:23PM.  Officer assisted Boone County Deputies with an incident involving shots fired at 250 L Road.

 

Wednesday May 29, 2019

-9:29AM.  Officer received a report that a green Ford Ranger pickup had just struck the fence behind 305 S 1st Street in the alley.  Officer made contact with driver of the truck and he had notified the owner of the fence and gave his insurance information.

-9:20PM.  Deputies received a complaint of a vehicle parked on the south side of Ogden High School playing loud music.  The vehicle was gone upon deputies’ arrival.

-6:54AM.  Officer assisted Boone County Deputies, Ogden First Responders, Ogden Fire and Boone County Ambulance with a single vehicle accident involving personal injury in the 900 block of 216th Drive.

-12:38PM.  Officer assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance.

-9:53PM.  Deputy assisted motorist locked out of vehicle.

-10:53PM.  Deputy took a report of a 15-year-old boy having run away from home.  The boy was entered in the state system.

-12:02PM.  Officer assisted subject locked out of vehicle.

-8:36PM.  Deputy was asked to check on welfare of an Ogden resident.  Neighbors were at residence when Deputy arrived.  Deputy requested Ogden First Responders to come and check the subject.

 

Saturday June 1, 2019

-9:51AM.  An employee of Caseys General Store reported that a vehicle had left without paying for gasoline.

-4:25PM.  Deputy assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance.

-4:38PM.  Mikayla Wenger of 614 W Division Street reported that when she came home from work, she found a window open.  Her residence had been gone through and some items were missing.

 

Sunday June 2, 2019

-5:04AM.  Deputy received a complaint of a barking dog in the NW part of Ogden.  Deputy was unable to locate the dog.

-6:04AM.  Deputy responded to an incomplete 911 call from a cellular phone.  The phone mapped to 625 E Oak Street.  This was a resident of ACURRA Health.

-2:00PM.  Deputy responded to an intrusion alarm at Ogden Middle School.  This was determined to be a false alarm.

Monday May 20, 2019

-4:41AM.  Deputies assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance.

-8:15PM.  Ogden resident turned in a cell phone that he had found in the parking in the 300 block of SW 7th Street.  Officer was able to locate the owner and return the phone.

 

Tuesday May 21, 2019

-9:24AM.  Officer assisted Ogden Fire Department with a fire alarm at the Ogden Middle School.  This was determined to be a false alarm caused by construction.

-4:14PM.  Deputy assisted motorist with a flat tire.

 

Wednesday May 22, 2019

-11:30AM.  Officer received a complaint of metal debris in the traveled portion of the roadway 2 ½ miles east of Ogden on 216th.  The officer was unable to locate any debris in the roadway.

-10:07PM.  Deputy was asked to check on welfare of an Ogden resident as complainant could hear a child crying. There was no answer at the door and deputy could hear no child crying inside the residence.

 

Thursday May 23, 2019

-1:01PM.  Deputy received a complaint of an alleged violation of a no-contact order.  Deputy was going to contact County Attorney.

-5:14PM.  John Valen, 507 S 1st Street reported to deputy that he had damage to the siding on his house.  It appears that rocks have been thrown against the siding and damaged the siding.

9:03AM. Deputy received a report from Lance DeGeneffe that he had a homemade bank made of PVC pipe and painted orange/black and has Harley Davidson painted on side.  There was approximately $800 in the bank.

-7:23PM.  Deputies responded to a report of an intoxicated female at Ogden Caseys Store.  Deputies found a ride for the individual.

 

Monday May 27, 2019

-5:40AM.  Ogden officer and Boone County Deputy assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance.

-10:35AM.  Officer assisted Ogden Middle School Custodian with flags laying on ground due to rope breaking.

-11:15AM.  Officer assisted Ogden resident that was locked out of residence.

-Officer was asked to look for a red Chevy truck driving east on 220th from Grand Junction at a high rate of speed and making bad passes.  The officer was unable to locate the vehicle.

-5:30PM.  Officer met with motorist at Ogden PD.  The motorist was reporting a vehicle that had thrown a glass bottle at their vehicle near L Avenue and 220th Street.  The bottle did not strike their vehicle.  This information was passed on to Greene County Sheriff’s Department, as the offending vehicle was westbound on 220th Street.

-8:30AM.  Officer was called to an Ogden residence in regards to a fight between a 41 year old female and her 18 year old niece.  There were no charges filed.

-12:32PM. Deputy investigated a two vehicle accident in the 100 block of W. Veterans.

-10:18AM. Officer assisted with traffic control at SW 4th and W. Mulberry St. for a spilled load on the road.

-12:01PM. Officer assisted a Boone County Deputy and Ogden Fire in the 200 blk of 220th Street with a semi fire.

-1:00PM. Officer investigated a burning complaint in the 100 blk of W. Sycamore St.

-11:57AM.  Officer received a complaint of a silver impala driving eastbound on 220th Street from Grand Junction at a high rate of speed and making bad passes.  The officer stopped the vehicle in the 600 block of 220th Street.  The vehicle was not speeding at the time but had no license plates.  The vehicle was recently purchased.

-8:51PM.  Deputy received a complaint of someone burning on the east side of town.  The deputy said there was a strange odor, but he could not locate anyone that was burning.

 

Saturday May 18, 2019

-11:18AM.  Officer attempted to speak with resident about lawn needing mowed but nobody would come to door.  Officer notified landlord.

-5:42PM.  Deputy received a complaint of a Black Scion driving fast in the 200 block of SW 7th Street.  The deputy was unable to locate the vehicle.

 

Sunday May 19, 2019

-12:23AM.  Deputy was asked to check on welfare of an Ogden resident.  The subject was fine.

-4:25PM.  Randy Jennings, 207 NE 3rd reported to Deputy that he has a sink hole in his yard.

-9:11PM.  Deputy received a complaint of a pickup truck driving around with a light bar on roof that has a blinding white light.  The Deputy was unable to locate the vehicle.

-3:02PM. Officer received a complaint of a loose dog in the 100 block of W. Veterans.

 

Tuesday May 7, 2019

-10:30AM.  Officer assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance.

-12:16PM.  Officer received a report of a semi-tractor-trailer about to lose load.  Officer stopped the vehicle in the 1300 block of H Avenue and advised the driver of situation.  The driver had a torn strap and re-secured the load.

-2:35PM.  Officer received a complaint of a yard that needs mowed.

-4:44PM.  Deputy assisted subject locked out of vehicle.

-8:11PM.  Officer received a report of possible sexual abuse.  This case is under investigation.

-10:40PM.  Deputy assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance with an unattended death.

 

Wednesday May 8, 2019

-9:42AM.  Officer responded to an incomplete 911 call from an Ogden residence.  The resident was fine; she was moving her phone and hit the emergency button.

-10:48PM.  Deputy responded to a report of 2 suspicious teenagers in dark clothing walking around vehicles at 619 Haws Drive.  The deputy was unable to locate anyone in the area.

-10:50PM.  Deputies assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance with a subject having trouble breathing in Casey’s Parking Lot.

 

Thursday May 9, 2019

-4:05PM.  Officer received a complaint about a subject driving a black Ford Mustang with red stripes recklessly on Tuesday, May 7, 2019, in the 400 block of east Walnut Street.

-6:12PM.  Officer received a report of a threat that had been made within the last couple of months.

 

Friday May 10, 2019

-9:15AM.  Officer spoke with Ogden resident in reference to lawn being mowed.

-2:05PM.  Officer attempted to speak with Ogden resident about lawn not being mowed.  There was nobody home at this time.

-4:43PM.  Officer stood-by while subject retrieved belongings from residence.

-7:10PM.  Officer received a complaint of cars parking on the street/sidewalk in the 300 block of east Oak Street.

-9:44PM.  Officer received a report of teenage girls fighting at the Spinning Wheels Skating Rink.  The officers spoke with 6 girls and warned for Disorderly Conduct and were told to leave for the rest of the evening.

-2:55PM.  Officer fingerprinted 2 subjects in regard to obtaining a day care license.

-4:53PM.  Officer assisted Boone County Deputies, Ogden First Responders, Ogden Fire and Boone County Ambulance with a single vehicle accident in the 900 block of H Avenue.
