It is with a very heavy heart that I have come to the decision that all levels of Ogden Youth Softball and Baseball and T-Ball will be cancelled for the 2020 Season. After much research and thought, I believe it is the best decision for our youth and all involved.

Anyone who would like to play baseball or softball in Ogden please feel free to download the attached form and turn it in to the City of Ogden. These forms are due Monday, March 2nd. Currently we are taking registrations for the Tiny Tikes Basketball Skills Clinic that is open to students Pre-K ages 4+ through 2nd Grade. These forms are DUE DECEMBER 18TH. They can be turned into City Hall, the drop box at Leonard Good Community Center or to you school secretary. -10:40AM. Officer provided traffic control for Chris Jones, as he moved cattle from west side of H Avenue, north of Ogden, to the east side of H Avenue.
Tuesday December 3, 2019
-1:40PM. Officer assisted Fang’s Automotive with an abandoned vehicle.
-5:39PM. Officer received a complaint of a barking dog at 320 S 1st Street. Officer spoke with owner of the dog. The owner advised he would put a bark collar on the dog.
-6:38PM. Ogden resident reported he had caught a dog running loose in the 200 block of SW 7th Street. The owner was notified and came and picked up the dog.

-2:24AM. Ogden officer and Boone County Deputies responded to a reported Breaking and Entering at 443 E Sycamore Street. Jessica Peterson reported that Christopher Christian had broken into her home. Deputy arrested Christian for Criminal Trespass and Criminal Mischief-5th.
Thursday December 5, 2019
-5:43AM. Ogden officer and Boone County Deputy assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance at 114 W Sycamore Street.
-10:00AM. Betty Brockett, 58, of Ogden reported that she had been physically assaulted and spit on by a Jay Rothmeyer, 61, a resident of ACCURA Health. Officer cited Rothmeyer with simple assault and released with a court appearance.
10:54AM. Officer assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance at 307 SW 3rd Street.
-3:07PM. Officer received a report of possible fraud.
-3:50PM. Officer was asked to check on welfare of an Ogden resident. The subject was fine.
-6:07PM. Officer assisted Boone County Deputy, Ogden First Responders, Ogden Fire Department and Boone County Ambulance with an accident involving personal injury in the 700 block of 220th Street westbound.
Friday December 6, 2019
-10:52AM. Officer was asked to check on welfare of an Ogden resident, because his vehicle was home, but he was not. The subject was located. He was given a ride to a doctor appointment.
-2:45PM. Officer received a report from an Ogden resident, that his garage door was open when he came home from work, but it didn’t appear that anything was missing.
-6:13PM. Deputy responded to a report of an open door on residence at 602 SE 2nd Street. The family dog was out running around and nobody appeared to be at home. The deputy secured the residence.

-7:15AM. Officer investigated vandalism to a sign in the 400 blk of East walnut St.
-7:53AM. Officer investigated vandalism to a sign at S. 1st and Division St.
-1:01PM. Officer assisted a subject with a civil matter.
-1:35PM. Officer investigated a vandalism complaint.
